Code: PN2HD3Q2
Ordered: May 2022
Lock date: July 26 (actual)
Schedule for production: Sept 3 (actual)
Start production: Sept 13 (actual)
End production: Sept 17 (actual)
Transit to Emden Port: Sept 24 (estimate)
On vessel: Oct 8 (estimate)
Entering Houston port: Nov 5 (estimate)
Dealer deliver - Austin: Nov 5 (estimate)

Sorry - didn’t track the original estimated dates that I have actuals for. I know that the production date is about 1 week ahead of the original estimate, but the final delivery date hasn’t changed. Also not holding my breath on the Nov 5 date due to various chip shortages.

On Friday I noticed my delivery date was moved from 12/10 to 12/3. I really hope if they’re confident to move the date up that they know what they’re talking about. If I don’t get the car on time I’m going to not only be disappointed, but also confused. ?

Good news!!

my car which has been stuck in Jax port since 8/16 with an estimated arrival date of 9/24 due to TPMS shortage has been released from the port.

Dealer should be receiving it in the next 1-2 days…

Can’t wait!!

Same thing here. Dealer called today that the car was being released from the Jax port since 8/16. He does not know if the TPMS was installed at the port though. He thinks he will get the car today (dealer is 3 hours from the port, but I am not sure how may cars or stops the truck has).

Last week the 8/3 cars were released from Jacksonville and today the 8/16's are getting released. Maybe this will help give everyone some ideas on when to expect their car.

So is this simply a response to over-crowded port storage and the cars with still no TPMS will now have to sit at your dealership until they receive them as they cannot legally be sold w/o them? Or have supplies of TPMS units arrived to complete these cars with delivery to customers through dealerships? Sounds like your SA's are not clear on this or am I reading this wrong?

According to my dealer, Porsche wouldn’t release a car from the port for transport unless the TPMS has been installed. I will know for sure in one or two days.

Another forum member got the same call today (we are both in FL, but different dealers and our cars hit the port the same date) and his dealer said the TPM was installed and the car could be sold. Mine is going to call me this afternoon to let me know as he just was notified it was released from the port.

My Taycan CT which I ordered in April and landed in Davisville on 8/18/21 has now gone to the dealer who called yesterday and said I might have it on Monday September 27th.

I’m starting to believe it might happen

Your timing sounds correct based on the cars delivered about 7-10 days before mine and mine available now. A dealer mentioned the TPM are vin specific when they arrive and he thinks following FIFO as to which cars receive them.

My production dates for my 4S are identical to yours, as is the vessel load date. Sounds like we’re both on the Sfl Conductor. It’s anticipated arrival date in Baltimore is 10/3 (https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/SFL-CONDUCTOR-IMO-9293909-MMSI-372097000) - 5 days earlier than what you have listed.
