What do you need to pay attention or advice on collection day?

Check that the heater works — let it run at full heat for ~10-15 minutes. Many cars have been delivered recently with broken heaters.

It is a good advice. Will check.

If he follows that list, he better book a hotel nearby because it's going to take 3 days at the dealership.

Make sure the car allows you to log in to your Porsche account! I had to try it a couple of times before it finally signed me in.
Have the SA walk you through setting up your charging account via Porsche (not sure if you guys get complimentary charging like we do in the States) and activate plug and charge so you aren't scratching your head when you first go to charge like I was.
Other than that just enjoy the car and drive the heck out of it then complain why the range is lower than expected

We get a discounted rate on the Ionity stations (aka you only pay the 0.39€ per Kwh and not the time charge) in most European Countries. Not really exciting but better than nothing.
