Hey everyone, I’m in the market for a taycan and found a turbo s I really like. It’s a 2020 that had a 226k msrp, asking 189k with about 3k miles. I’m just wondering if this seems like a good deal or what I should try offering? Thanks!

I am very opinionated about Carrara White Turbo builds (see my avatar), and this one strikes me as lame.
+ Mission e wheels
- Didn't opt for black window trim or model name
+ All of the right option packages (Sport, Premium)

Can't tell if there's a passenger display. Overall, meh. The price feels really high to me, given the options list on it. The original sticker was likely around 170-ish.

It depends where you are in the country. There are 5 Turbo S options to choose from in NorCal and 189K is the cheapest option (there are 2). Everything else sits over 200K and well over the national average.

We also pay almost $6 for a gallon of gas, so theres that.

But this is a Turbo, not a Turbo S.

Perhaps it would be worth your while to purchase elsewhere in the nation, maybe somewhere where the prices are below average (the national average comes from somewhere, if there are cars above, there have to be cars below)? Even with shipping and a scouting/inspection trip, that might be substantial savings.

It is - I already did that myself. Saved about 15K for the same car out of state as compared to the California market.

Taycan is pretty much the only car I could see taking what would be a somewhat normal hit on depreciation, while every other car, ICE or otherwise is way above normal.

I started looking about 4 months ago, and purchased about 6 into the search.
