They don't make Pilot Sport 4 tires that fit the Mission E wheels so I think your dealer is mistaken. 21" Pilot Sport 4 tires are only available in 275, 315, 325; Mission E wheels are 265/305. This from Michelin's website and customer service.
This was proven from my question asked to Michelin directly. They said they don't make tires to fit 21" wheels used by Porsche for the Taycan so I would have to assume they will in the future but nobody is getting a Michelin tire on a Taycan with 21" wheels.

Michelin does make 21" Pilot Sport 4S tires in both 265 and 305, but the 305's are 305/25. I rechecked and the OEM tires will hopefully be the Pirelli P Zero max performance summers. 265/35 and 305/30.

Your comment raises two questions, one can you use a 25 on the rear as I thought you had to go up on first number if you go down on the the second number? Second question, if you want Pirelli do you have to say you want Summer Tires vs All season because I think you get Continental if you go All Season? Has anyone gotten a Perilli All Season tire on their 21" wheels from Porsche?

25's on the rear would fit, but would have a slightly smaller outer diameter, so I would definitely not use.

I have not had good experience specifying OEM tires. The cars come off the line with whatever tires are standard and available at the time. I got my Panamera GTS with Conti's and they just sucked. When I switched to Michelins, it was like I was driving a totally different car. I've had really good experiences with Pirelli's as well.

Just out of interest what winter tyres are people planning to use? My 4S is going to be delivered at the end of October which is time to switch to winters here in Switzerland.

The dealer I think is planning to put it on Pirelli P Zero Winters on my 20"s which I think are a new model.

Previously I've had Michelin Pilot Alpin which were good, but just wondering if people who've had Porsches before have any recs.

Taycan TS delivered 2020-08-26 has Pirelli P-Zero summer tires on 21" wheels.. Carefully ensured it came with summer tires - if it goes out in the winter cold, the wheels will not stop turning (at high speed) until it comes home!

My Taycan Turbo S registered 20/8-20, also has 21’’ Pirelli P-Zero summer tires mounted (typical: sport, high speed). The 20’’ winter wheels are Nokian Hakkapelitta R3 (typical: snow, ice and wet surface). I especially like the e-mission look on the summer wheels, which was my first choice.

@wmras: Those are really nice looking carbon wheels !!

After this the big Porsche purchase, the wife has hidden my wallet, and hinted at divorce due to my spending, so I have to keep my head low for some time ahead. I think it's best I do not beg for more for a while . . .

My Turbo S arrived with the Continental A/S tires. Will likely swap the Mission-E wheels over to P-Zeros in the spring, unless someone else (Michelin, others?) comes out with a amazing different performance option.

Anyone taken Taycan with P-Zeros out onto the track yet?

Please note the Pirelli P-Zero are ELECT series, not regular P-Zero...
Elect series are especially for high performance EVs like the Taycan.
great point. I am looking to get the Taycan out on the track (we have a good one fairly close here) once I get through break-in...maybe I'll start another thread with "track?" topic
