I just had a JuiceBox 48 installed. My car is charging at 10.5kw (60 amp breaker) and you can actually set the timer with the app. Tell the charger when to start and when to stop--it works!! You can still keep your charging level profile that you set up in the car--mine is at 85%. If only Porsche could have come up with something so simple.

This is the new JuiceBox. It is the one that was shown at CES in January. The cost is about $200 less than the Clipper Creek as well. $639.00

My options were limited. I went with a 7.2 charger in my condo parking garage (still waiting for installation) - it hard to be hard wired. I will have a 14-50 receptacle installed at my parents’ house for visits there and use the PMCC. If I was in a house, I would have totally gone for the max.

Hmmm, I don't see my option. I have 2 EVSEs installed on a single 50 Amp circuit, using sharing. So, 9.6 kW, not 7.2. Except when it's 4.8 if my wife is charging her car at the same time...

I have wired my PMCC with a very long 125 meter, 3 phase, neutral and earth insulated outdoor wiring exclusive of all the rest of my house and garage. Result: 22kw available and the possibility to charge from my solar installation (30kw).

The grid power supply reports 101.81 kWh consumed, that is 3 kWh (3%) more than what the charger reports. I assume, that 98.8 kWh is what the charger measures on the output. So we still don't know how much kWh went into the battery and how much was consumed by the AC to DC converter in the car.

On a side note: After charging the reported 446km changed to 401km range this morning. Also not quite sure why over night the BC changed his mind...

level 7 option added - to allow those with 19.2 kW on their MY’2021 to express their true selves!!

I'm on the lowest possible Level 2, a 16a on a 20a breaker, and it works perfectly for me. I get 30-40% charge overnight.

@PanameraFrank - for those that wish to follow in your foot steps - what EVSE are you using and what charge rate does the Taycan report on the center console lower screen while charging? (both the mpm & kw number if you can please)

oh and please vote - I don’t see any votes for level 2 :)
