Where is the spare tire in the taycan? Is it a full size tire?

One reason I kept the 19" wheels is to give the vehicle a little more protection, so to speak, from rim and tire damage.

My car (US) does not seem to have the tire sealant and tire inflator. The manual (GTK app as well) indicates that this depends on the country.

For those who have taken delivery in the US did the car come with the tire sealant and tire inflator in the frunk?

The sealer and inflator were an option in the US, if I remember. I think I remember checking those boxes way at the end of the form.

Ah I see. I just checked my configuration and yeah, I didn't add it.

Is there anything special about it? Or any after market one will work?

Nothing special. If you want to overpay, you can probably buy the porsche ones. It's a 12V pump and some goop.

I have put 106,000 miles on my GTS and had nail punctures in the rear tires 6 or 7 times. Always able to get to my favorite tire repair place - they do it for free since I bought the tires there. A couple times, they couldn't repair and I needed a new tire. I carry the 'slime' air pump in my car. I use it for my racer, and it's very compact and easy to use. Very nice to have if you have a slow leak.

I didn’t purchase it. Figured a $13 can of “Fix-a-Flat” would do just fine until I can deal with it permanently.

There is no way I'm pumping a can of that stuff into my tire and ruining my TPMS valves, Tires, and potentially my Wheels...

I got the same advice years ago. If you use that stuff you will need to replace much more than the tire. Call for roadside assistance.

Spare tire = call roadside assistance and have it flat bedded to dealer.
Stuck with a flat right now. I really hate that the world has moved to this mentality that it is ok to wait for hours for a tow instead of including a spare in a car. I’m buying a spare and leaving it in the trunk. I’ll use another car when I need storage space. Any recommendations for a spare?

There's a tire sealant repair kit in the front trunk. From the Good to Know app.

Not sure about other regions but in UK the Tyre Sealant and Electric Air Compressor are options...ones your "expert know it all salesperson" will no doubt have failed to point out. There's penny pinching and then there's penny pinching @ £42 it should be standard if only as a nod to safety.
