MY20 Turbo with 21" Mission E wheels came with all-season Contis. I did a bit of looking for the wheel and tire specs and potential options for wider tires in the front, and possibly in the back as well. Would love any input on good tire options I missed (yeah I'm a big fan of Michelins) or why either matching the Turbo S front tire or going +1 on width (but keeping the 30 aspect ratio) is a bad idea.

Wheel specs:
Front: 9.5 J x 21 ET 60
Rear : 11.5 J x 21 ET 60

Stock tires:
Front: 265/30R21 (diameter new 27.3")
Rear : 305/30R21

Turbo-S with summer tires has the same size in the rear but 265/35ZR21 up front.

Options:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
275/30ZR21 (MPN 19555) 27.5 diameter, approved wheel width 9-10
275/35R21 (MPN 09857) 28.5 diameter, approved wheel width 9-11
275/35ZR21 (MPN 46771) 28.5 diameter, approved wheel width 9-11

Michelin Pilot Super Sport
265/35ZR21 (MPN 04778) 28.3 diameter, approved wheel width 9-10.5

Michelin Pilot Sport 4
275/35ZR21 (MPN 63342) 28.5 diameter, approved wheel width 9-11
315/30ZR21 (MPN 21661) 28.5 diameter, approved wheel width 10.5-11.5

Interesting topic. I was initially going to say that the larger 28+" diameters may cause an issue compared to the stock 27.3".

However, I just swapped from 21" all seasons to 20" winters (OEM wheels and tire specs) and the tire was noticeably larger and filled the wheel well more than my Mission E wheels and tires. So I just looked up the winter tire specs, and they are 28.6 and 28.9" diameter! So I guess my initial thought was wrong.

In that case, I might be leaning towards PS4S in 275/35 (28.3) and 315/30 (28.5) which both come in NDO Porsche specs with suitable load ratings. Another 10mm tire width would be equivalent to a 5mm spacer, which isn't an issue at all for fender clearance. Just have to make sure that 5mm on the inside is OK too. What do you think?

Yeah - that's the rub. Front's are probably OK - if there were to be an issue it would be at full turns. If the rears rub, that would be constant and an issue. That said, I'm not really looking to make the rears any wider - they are already plenty wide and they look like the fit the wheel the way they are supposed to. It's the fronts that look too narrow for the wheel.

What tires do you guys recommend for 22” wheels on a Taycan 4s
Front wheel 22 x 9
Rear wheel 22 x 10.5
I was thinking about going 35 series for the front because I want some extra tire for the pot holes
What do you think of these tires below, do you think it will rub?
Front: 275/35R22
Rear: 305/30R22

Adding another question,

anyone running 275/35R21 and 315/30R21 on OEM wheels? I found that GoodYear F1 SS are available.
