I guess it's this...
Are you all (or others) photoshopping these things all to hell to adjust ride heights, flares, etc?
Like, sure, when you photoshop it to hell, of course it looks better.
I bet I could send these pics to reddit and have a photoshop person make it look exactly like the Mission E, suicide doors and all. Low ride hight, undercarriage additions and everything.

What I'm trying to say is... there are the mules that look like taycan/panamera bastard love babies, and there is the Mission E. These pics you all are posting appear to be photoshopped to fit your desires for what the finished product will look like. But how ACCURATE is it? Ya know?

I want NON-PHOTOSHOPPED images to look like these photoshopped ones so we can see what it looks like, but they don't exist. The only ones that exist look like that bastard love child. I'm sure you all (or whoever is doing them) truly believes that they're creating an image that will be what it ultimately looks like, and hey, I hope you are, but there is SERIOUSLY ARTISTIC LIBERTIES being taken to make it so.

Is it September yet?!?! I wanna know if I'm spending $130+ or not. haha

Mine are just the mules without the decals/stickers, added some wheels and small details.
No adjustments to ride height, width or anything (if you don't see that you've no imagination and it would be better to see it in real life indeed).
Just the mules cuz that's all we have.

No. I think Dee just removed the fake panamera light decal thing at the front. And the red decals at the back.

Also, the mules seem very jacked up - all the pics I posted are (I think) of the Mission E at normal ride height, and it looks so sporty, if you stop trying to compare it to the Mission E but compare it to other sedans instead, it looks so beautiful. If Porsche hadn't made and released the Mission E some years ago, you'd have fallen in love with the Taycan by now. In hindsight, releasing the Mission E concept was a mistake on their part, as it created unrealistic expectations for the Taycan's design. The Taycan is closer to the Mission E than the Jaguar C-XF was to the XF

The Taycan is, in all seriousness and without a hint of hyperbole, the best-looking 4-door car Porsche has ever made.

I wish Porsche hadn't made the Mission E concept for 2015 (especially if they couldn't or weren't planning to put it into production looking exactly as it was). But that they had instead made the Taycan, looking exactly the way it does. That way, the good-looking Taycan (with like 90% of the Mission E cues) is a very pleasant surprise for the automotive world, especially as it would be put into production in the coming months. Like Jaguar did with the XJ.

That is 100% true. By far the best 4 door Porsche and most have ever made.

this image also shows that the design really is not very close to the panamera but rather closer to and between the 911 and the panamera......... the front curiously is the most panameraish..... where as the haunches are as sculpted as the 911 an the general side panels as well and much more than on the panamera....

Porsche Taycan Taycan drops camo revealing headlights, tail lights, rear side window 154A7C2C-E672-4889-A4E0-3C202DE45F72

And here it seems like we might be getting a seize différence of the front and the rear wheels, like on the 992, that would be a very nice move by Porsche giving the final design a more agressive look and feel......

I put the deposit down recently based on continued representation (implicit as calls for deposits still showed Mission E photos) that it will still look like a Mission E. If its anywhere close to the photoshopped photos, I'm out.

The most obvious differences are the loss of suicide doors, the excessive protrusion of the rear bumbper in the Taycan and the size of the wheelwell and the size of the wheels. guessing the Mission E has 21 or 22 inch wheels and the Taycan 19 or 20". Plus the painted wheel rims look really cool on the Mission E. Hopefully that will be a option. But looks like as more spy photos come out, Porsche is staying relatively true to Mission E concept. I am in, if it fits in my narrow high-rise parking spot....lol

Yes the the wheels. If I’m not completely off my rockers I think the rear wheels on the M-e are 24” wheels and that would lead me to believe that the Taycan’s are either 22” or 21” with the fronts being 21” or 20” looking at the pic that I referenced in my last post the wheels seem to be a bit bigger than on the 992 right behind it so I think we will have 22” and 21” B/F or 21” 21” B/F.......... but YES the wheel wells are definitely smaller on the Taycan but that is almost always the case between proto and prod. There is just too much unsprung mass in such a big wheel configuration.

Another difference is the wheel base which is much shorter in the Taycan, probably about 10 cm shorter........ otherwise the waist line seems to be very similar. I counter checked with two side views and the “given” length measures..........

I'm liking it quite a bit - very sharp. If you delete that ridiculous white reflector from the side vent...

I also have to agree it looks more like a 911 than a Panamera.
