Thanks PAG_J1.
But will the rear fenders be as wide as the production sketch released a couple of weeks ago? Your picture of the back seems like it will? Thanks!

A lot
Yup, cuz that's a Mission E, not a Taycan.
Same with the suicide doors, they didn't make it to the production model.

Neither the "side steps" (altough there is a litle bit of that on the taycan) which i think will be biggest diference as far as exterior design goes between the Mission E and the Taycan (yeah, the suicide doors too)

By the way, i read an article (during the time the Cross Turismo was presented in Genebra) that said that Porsche Designers had wanted the suicide doors for the Taycan but that the Porsche Board Management shut it down! Maybe PAG_J1 can confirm this or not!

I know one of the art directors at Vossen who said they've been working on wheels specifically for the Taycan for a while now.

Also, PAG_J1 confirmed that the production rear spoiler will be similar to what you see on the prototypes.

Same with the suicide doors, they didn't make it to the production model.
Remember that the reason the digital mirrors didn’t make the production model is because of regulations, not that Porsche decided to pull them off. Audi showed the same with their e-Tron and it shipped with conventional mirrors, again due to regulation.

Audi E-Tron Digital Mirrors are Legal on the Europe but not in North America and that´s because of regulations. The same with the dynamic turn signals. Legal on ROW but not NA (Including Mclaren). Porsche Digital Mirrors didnt make a cut on the Taycan because of the rear wide hips and i´m basically quoting an interview a Porsche Engineer made about 2 months ago (Which i posted about 2 months ago)

I really like the glass roof on our model 3 . i hope it makes it on taycan. which may expalin why they cover the tops of the prtotypes with flag vinyl? Was also hopping a a opening roof like the model 2

bt damn that curveredroof look real nice. could they make that out of glass?

I´ve spoke today with a member of a certain Porsche Center in Portugal and this is what he told me! (Also posted on the "your dealer is showing you love thread)

- Every single Porsche Center in Portugal knows the final design, specs options and prices! If they know, i´m pretty sure dealers in the US and other big markets (way bigger than Portugal which with the exception of some 8/9 countries is pretty much everybody else (Porsche sold 738 cars in Portugal in 2018) So if your dealer says he doesnt know much it´s because he is lying (was told not to lie but to be ignorant)

- Since this "electric thing" is a huge thing for Porsche (it´s the start of a new era) Porsche have told dealers to basically ("shut up") and that the car mules have been way more protected than other cars in the past.

- The leak of the rear of the 992 last year greatly upset Porsche MAnagement and there was repercussions not only for the Porsche Center involved but also the person who took the photo (the person who took the photo was not the one who posted)

- As for the car he told me that it does indeed look a lot like a mission e with the big exeption being the side (because of the suicide door and the side skirts (i called them Land Rover side steps) and that some things were tonned down just a litle because if they didnt tonned down it would look odd. He told me it doesnt look like a Panamera, a baby Panamera or any other Porsche. It´s a Porsche but it has his own identity! Specs didnt confirmed me, asked about the interior and he refused to say anything more.

Another thing. There´s only 1 Porsche Centers in the World that is owned and operated by Porsche AG. Porsche Center Zuffenhausen. The rest is franchising. So when Porsche are testing their cars they stop the mules at Porsche Centers (from time to time (actually that´s the reason why the photo of the 992 was leaked). So, again, if your dealers says he doesnt know, he´s lying. Also, doesnt makes sense that the guys that are selling their cars would know information about the car 2/3 weeks before the day that the press and some guests at a golf tournament would also know.
