Dee, never say again that i dont like you...lol...
I never said that, why would I?
I always appreciate you share a lot of pics with us!
Maybe cuz it's not our native language?

Thx for this one but I doubt the production model will be different from this one.
It's just wierd that on some mules the lines are showing but not on all cars apparently ...
But maybe it's just me.

It´s not the language, i think that Portuguese Humor is diferent than the Dutch Humor..

As far as the pics goes, i´ve seen so diferent mules with some diferences between them at the same time that i just dont now.

It´s really anoying!

Regards my friend.

Hmm, yeah, but I don't think Porsche would use images of the Mission E to promote the Taycan unless they were really similar - and the latest video shows a car really similar to the Mission E

Also @PAG_J1

I managed to snapshot a low quality image of the Taycan from the teaser video ""Hey Electricity, get ready for the Taycan."

Given how late it was released, would you say this is the finalised design of the Taycan?

Yeah, looks like the production version...but it's hard to tell with such a small picture.

Hi!

Is Turbo S available from start? ... or just Turbo .... what would mean that 6-12 months later when S version is arriving you already have an „old“ version

I’m hearing Turbo-S from start.... but for new old that is always the case with any thing you buy.... however for BEVs this is very true when you consider battery tech. so i decided a few years ago to lease all BEVs except collectors cars.......

When does the online configurator go live typically for Porsche new model releases in general? I realize it may not be the same for the Taycan, but just wondering about when it typically happens? Same day/week as official model announcement or sometime later?

I’ve been looking for this image on a different thread other than ‘wailing wall’
Cos’ I’m now feeling so positive regarding this image it would be rude to post my reply on that thread

I agree
This small (but easy to blow up) photo, is such a good example of why the Taycan just has to have that E spoiler and duct
As blurry as it is, there’s no way this image matches/replicates the existing roofline on the mules
The falling roofline on your photo (and PAG-J1 post of the ‘undercover rear sneak peek’) seems to finish waaay short of the spoiler position

Also, further pondering........with a 3rd glance at the ‘undercover frontal sneak peek’, I believe an explanation of the seemingly dramatic
fall could partly be explained if the car bonnet ‘hump’ has been inverted on the production version (as compared to the mules)
Raised centrally and lowered at the outside points of the bonnet, necessitating the lengthening of the sloping guards
(Surprise Surprise...I’ve just checked, it would look just like the E......woop woop )

I agree also, the front of the mules look pretty good but with the slightly flattening of the front bumper
to match the ‘latest sketch from.....’ (sort of confirmed) and the prospect of lifting and lengthening the front guards
(as appears on ‘undercover sneak peek’) is just toooo tantalising ......

Sooo many positive signs

<First post!!!>

I am just another enthusiast hoping for the Mission E style spoiler. Please take a look at the attached pics.

Assuming the "Soul, Electrified" video from Porsche shows the final Taycan (screencap in the 3rd image), then it seems like the tail silhouette closely matches the Mission E profile and not the current mules. Pay close attention to where the rear windshield meets the spoiler. I am quite convinced. Clear conclusion for all? Different camera angles? Wishful thinking?

It will be great if PAG_J1 can chime in!

If that profile is truly the Taycan, then I think we all will be very very excited. There are some major differences that you can see with this great comparison you've posted. First, as you point out, the back line transition is much earlier and more significant. Second, the front fender is way more aggressive than the mules. Third is the front end is more compressed from the headlight to bumper end vs the elongated mule front in the second mule. The mules definitely have different front ends and windshields, so this will change for sure. Almost looks like one mule has the production windshield and fake front bumper and the other has fake windshield and production bumper. Overall a terrific look!

At this point I take back what I said about the mules being basically production. I think Porsche has something pretty exciting up their sleeve!

I think when you compare the Taycan with the Mission E, you'll be very disappointed.
It'll never be the Mission E, no matter how hard you wish for that.
If you look at the Taycan as a car on itself and be realistic, you may get yourself excited...
Stop comparing, I'd say. ;)
