Looks amazing Felix!

Have you seen the Frozen blue in person? It looks great on the configurator but I really want to see it on an actual car.
saw it yesterday at the Frankfurt auto show and today went into my local porsche dealer and they had just received the sample today. So took it out in the sun and yes its a beautiful color with gold specks in it kind of a summery warm blue sky...…...

Appropros of the configuration, it doesn’t provide for delivery at Zuffenhausen. Perhaps a function of recent launch? Anyone know if European delivey will be available down the road for Taycan?

Think it will be very difficult to get factory delivery for a non-europe bound car since the charging inlet on the car is different depending on final market..... So if you are willing to change the onboard charger and the inlet on your car when you get it to the US then it should be doable but I suspect nothing that Porsche wants to deal with...……. IMHO

Wow - great color combo with the blue/black/red. I like the decision to keep the wheels all black and go with the black calipers. Really clean. My favorite I've seen to date.
Thanks Vim

Probably strange for me to defend the final version of Taycan, as I've been critical since 2017 when the mule body came out....but here:
1. What 'driving fanatic' (note my website URL :) ) really wants 'one peddle'?........personally I can't ween myself off of 3. Taycan regens on hard braking. Probably just me but it makes zero sense to have the car drag as soon as you release gas. I'm sure I must be missing something....probably something along the lines of trends to make the car more 'auto-drive' and remove the driver from the basic 'driving experience'....not sure.
2. Problems w/Nav?.......not a huge concern here....I have multiple Pcar and not too long ago reprogrammed PCMA for more current nav data. But I understand, people like their "phones".
3. "Autonomous driving"........what I said in #1
4. "space"......in a Porsche? If you read other Porsche forums (as I have for 25 years)......one common thread that re-appears with most every body refresh is....."please stop making these cars bigger and bigger" :headbang:
Interesting how different people think about certain features of a car.

1. You see, I have been driving a Tesla S and a Audi A7 for years and the bottom line is: I like nothing on the Tesla but the electric drive train with the "one paddle driving" and the "gas station" at home. The exact reverse with the Audi. I drive almost all the time in very large city traffic, I hardly ever need the function of cruising, but ALL the time gas, break, gas, break. For me going back to the Audi A7 style of driving is like buying a manual gear shift with a weak engine, ever driven an old
27 bhp Citroën 2CV
? If I really need cruising driving behind another car, I switch on the adaptive cruise control. I think all EVs with recuperation should have a simple permanent setting/button where you can switch between having the recuperation on the breaking or on the gas paddle. Technically simple but adds a lot of value to the car!

2. For the A7, I would like to use the car Navi, but after a year it is totally outdated and I cannot get an update. The Navi in the Tesla loads so unbelivably slow it is not usable and the map is also not updated fast enough. On the other hand: I often get a location in my chat software where I need to go. So with 2 clicks I have it on my navi on my phone...

3. The concern here is with the fast development in the tech space. My Audi A7 after 6 years looks so out-dated regarding the "computer and software" tech inside.

4. I did not mean to make it bigger, just keep it functional and really sleek in design! A challenge which these Porsche guys should relish.

Playing the phone while driving a car is not legal where I live.
CarPlay puts the phone I fo on the cars screen so you do not have to touch your phone and only the in-dash screen making it legal and very simple....... if you have an iPhone. There is a similar thing for android on certain systems but unfortunately not Porsche.........

A lot
After the IAA I deselected the Carbon Sport Design package.
The normal bumper looks more elegant and I don't like the rear spoilers at the sides.
I still can change my order and I don't know when it's going into a production slot.
In the brochure I also saw this:

So...

I think it’s the carbon version mid 2020 not the normal package..

It says carbon in the configurator:

I see that too in the states. But all the sport design elements are in carbon fiber. You can see that with just the sports design front fascia. Personally I prefer that to the whole package because then you get to keep the standard rear design which I greatly prefer.

the sports design front is the one option I can’t make my mind up about. I think i prefer standard, but I wish I could see it in person before ordering ...
