You mean it looks darker, the same shade it does on the configurator?
Yes, was studying two Porsches in natural light over the weekend. The Carmine Red is simply not a nice red. Period. If the red was as it appeared under the Frankfurt Show lights then that is what I would have ordered. So white it will be for me.

Just for information ... I just changed my Turbo order from volcano grey into jet black (with jet black wheels and black leather interior) ... I saw both colors live ... volcano grey is very nice but I wasn't happy color-wise in combination with mission e style wheels.

No. About the same. In real life Carmine Red is hideous in my opinion. There is no way that car at the Frankfurt Show was Carmine Red. They painted it another red for the show. Had to be.

It was definitely a metallic red...…… and the spotlights were a very cool (probably 6000K) color so it could very well have been a Carmine which was distorted by the lights...… probably on purpose...… :)

I have ordered a Mamba Green Turbo S with the Mission E wheels but unpainted with the silver rims.

I was quite disappointed with the range of colours available. I might have chosen the red if I had not had my last two Teslas in red!

I am also disappointed with the colour choices.

It would be awesome if they made a dark purple, a yellow and/or another shade of red.

I am debating between white or silver with matching colours on the mission e wheels. (However I think if not all, most of the Taycans will be black, white or silver)

I'm hoping for a deep, dark red.

Carmine Red looks good on the configurator, but after seeing spy shots of it in person it looks much brighter, when I thought it would be darker

I would have gone with Crayon, Lizard green or Lava Orange but none available. I bet they are holding them back for the Taycan GTS, GT2 and Gt3 versions for the future! I have gone black - Always loved Black Porsches :0
