I like the sportier contours of that roof overhang. It was looking a little Cayenne like in the covered up mule shots but these latest pics look better and way more sporty.

These latest photos show an awesome, beautiful wagon. It's going to be really hard to decide which one is better, the sedan or the wagon.

Exactly like Panamera style: sedan and wagon.
I think the sedan looks the widest on the rear so I'll take that one
With the one-piece red rear light from side to side it'll look killer wide...:muscle:
Now I'm curious how these front lights will look...:bandit:

Oh, no. Now I don't know which is my favourite EV anymore, The Taycan or the Taycan Turismo.
Hatch or no hatch, five seater or four seater..
Has anyone asked their dealer if there is a different waiting list for the hatchback?

I actually love it. Might more distinctive than the Taycan sedan after all. Love how wide it is with these shoulders!

That's a gorgeous back end! And when that light strip/bar lights up it's going to look glorious.

I wonder what styling elements, if any, will go on the lower rear bumper though since those are fake exhaust tips which will obviously not be there in the production model.

I recently checked here in Norway and so far there’s only a sedan preorder list. But I could sign up for email notification on the Cross Turismo, which is confirmed will be produced. They also clearly state the Taycan will not be quite like the Mission E. But «in the same spirit». I’ve heard there will be also a limited version for the first on the list (Mission E wheels).

I think the models will be:
Sedan
Sport Turismo (not confirmed)
Cross Turismo

All 4wd, it’s a must have with all that crazy torque.

Anyone read/heard more as to 5 seats for the wagon?

Must also say those spy shots seem very «planned» :D Are these taken by «car papparazzis»? Or do Porsche take them and deliberately leak them?

Leaked. IMO. They use interesting form fitting cladding to disguise the Mexico Blue and Lava Orange

I'm not saying there's only one mule.
What I'm saying is that they use the same bodystyle.
They've done that since I'm following these mules.
To my knowledge there are at least 4 mules:

I remember reading some article, likely from the Porsche Newsroom, that stated they had built around 100 Taycan prototypes for various testing scenarios. Given that they’ve been testing in Europe, South America, the Arctic Circle and the US (possibly Australia as well), they definetly have more than four mules. What’s unclear is whether they’ve producing more with updated bodywork or refitting existing ones to learn more about repair processes.

I know what you mean, don't know WHERE I read that either (Rennlist.com maybe?).
What I do remember is WHY they build around 100 prototypes.
In fact, those weren't prototypes but pre-production models to optimize the new pilot production line called "Flexi Line" with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles).
That way they can address production issues when it really takes off.

OMG this is an ugly beast. The Cross Turismo looks fine for a CUV and the Taycan will still look good even if the concept is turned down a little bit. But to turn the lovely concept sports sedan into a wagon is too much. I hope this thing never goes into production. I was close to buying the new Panamera when they suddenly came up with the Sport Turismo wagon, that killed my interest in Panamera. I hope the same thing wont happen with Taycan because this is a car I really want, but not if it in any way will be associated with a family wagon.

Not buying a car you like simply because it's associated with a variant you don't like it just cutting your nose off to spite your face.

I happen to like what we're seeing of both the sedan and sport truism models, and anyways, Porsche has already officially announced they're making the Taycan Sport Turismo - https://www.taycanforum.com/threads...ismo-wagon-spied-and-confirmed-by-porsche.20/
