Retrofit or not, that statement isn't confirmed.
Let alone payed or free.

I've asked so many questions at my dealership but in the end, they can't tell you anything just because they don't know.
At least my dealer says he just don't know.
Even if he asks Porsche there's no answer.
So....you just have to wait and see.

That was an answer directly from Porsche North America: No retrofit for 22kW if you don't get it from the factory.

Others on here have said their dealership told them they would get a free retrofit. Maybe that applies to other countries but this was from Porsche NA.

Just trying to help those who may want to hold out till its an option if there is no retrofit or those who are looking to wire up their garages for their first EV.

Yah its interesting they really seem to have put both Europe and the Turbo S on the back burner...… I still have nothing after the delay call………dealer just told me today that I should be patient and we MIGHT know more in Jan :-(

He also told me German dealers order directly at the factory so to get build slots for other countries is kinda hard.
It's looks like a lotery...

Hi - here is my build - they are saying end-April delivery. This is my very first Porsche, so was a bit intimidated by the configuration options. Would appreciate any feedback on what I have chosen. I believe I still have a few weeks to change the config.

Feedback appreciated (especially is the PDCC and PTV worth it, are there any other options that I should consider etc.)

Congrats!
For myself, I don't plan on taking this car to the tracks, I skipped out on a number of the performance oriented options to save some money. I focused on safety and range features.

For me, I think a little about the next seller too: if it's a full options car, it'll sell better.
But then again, options don't add much value to a car, only for yourself.
I hope you understand what I'm saying.
I'm lucky enough to opt the most options but hé, it's your money, it's your choice.

Your first Porsche Order Experience can be daunting. I've owned several, and tracked a few, so to me the performance options are a necessity. You should only order the performance add-ons if you actually plan to drive hard. I plan to take mine on the track ONCE just to see how it handles compared to the GT4, but mostly it'll be my daily driver but once you experience them, it's hard to go back.

As far as your build, you did well (IMHO). Color, interior and wheels (21's have more grip but sacrifice range) are personal preference. The FREE 25' cable option is the right choice if you need the extra length (standard is 2.5 meters, the option is 7.5 meters long) in your garage. And I live near LOTS of deer, so night vision was a must for me. I have Burmester on my Cayenne Turbo and have/had Bose on my others. You're right to NOT waste your money on Burmester.

I know the massage seats SOUND like a gimmick but try them (I did in a loaner Panamera and all I can say is ahhhhhh....) My wife laughed when I insisted on adding them to my Taycan 4S build. They're not that expensive (all things considered) and I'm pretty sure I'll get the last laugh when we take it for a long ride.

Very nice spec.
As others have said specs are quite personal and depends on your intended use.

Have you considered the SportChrono package, that will give the benefit to change driving modes with a small thumb wheel. I would also have a look at the rear wheel steering option for parking and nice handling.
