The fastest one, full options.
This way it's easier to sell (if I ever want that).
But according to the price of the options I think it'll be a "sensible choice" in options but ceramic brakes (@€8000) will be on it, no doubt.
It's my first supercar so I want to go nuts...

Ordered one a few weeks ago and requested delivery at factory.Curious if pick up in Stuttgard puts me in the car sooner than later.
I'm from the Netherlands and my dealer says it's a BIG hussle to get the registration of the numberplate done this way.
We don't have personal plates, the plates are connected to the car and vin-number...
Too bad...

Which one has the fastest acceleration and sharpest handling? I'll take that.

I'm assuming it's the Turbo

I'm curious what everyone who has placed a deposit is planning to purchase since the rumors are of 3 trim levels?

We also don't know which will be built first (possibly the "Turbo" top level model?) and how many allocations of each the dealerships will receive.
Really depends on how the specs come in. I have a figure in mind I'd like to spend but also don't want to compromise on certain areas; range, off the line speed and aggressive looks. Realize that likely puts me in upper trims. If this doesn't hit the spot then I'll be in line for a GT3.

My usual approach is to buy the best that I can afford. Likely to get the highest variant, therefore, and add-in a few goodies, like PCCB and PTS. Of course, I hope that, in addition to the acceleration, the range and styling of the Turbo (or whatever shall be the highest model) shall be notably better!

How come no one is questioning the first word here....ordered? Ordered what? The final specs and trims haven't even been released yet.

I thought I would get the top trim level as it will certainly have the best range which is one of my main issue. That and the looks of the production model. I think if I get the best model with premium options I am more likely to be satisfied and not disappointed. Also I would think the top level of trim will be easier to sell in the future should I not be completely satisfied.:fingerscrossed:

If Porsche follows their formula for the last few new car launches it will be an S and Turbo out the door first (they want to capture the $$ of the most excited) followed by a base and about two years later a GTS.
If I can stand it, I'll wait for a GTS. If I can't wait I'll have to configure an S as I would expect the GTS to come. Of course, that's all Cross-Turismo for me!

Porsche has never launched top of the series first.
Taycan will be the exception to that.
After a couple hundred dealer-demo cars are produced they will begin customer build-to-order Turbos......definitely over $100K.....probably see them in U.S. early 2020.

I will get the Turbo S. However if it looks like the mules and does not look like the "E" wide rear hips and sleek athletic look, then I will purchase something else. I will not spend that much money for a car when I have been getting marketing material on a product that looks like the "E"

Turbo S, after all the Teslas and a few Audi RSs I have had, I need to feel that surge…...
