I bought a 2006 911S cab in 2008 and still have it. Only 38,000 miles. I bought a 2020 Taycan Turbo in 2020 and have about 18,000 miles on it.
At this point I'm not getting rid of the 911, and it's a lot of fun to drive, but I find myself using the Taycan more.
A Turbo Cab might be more...
I’ve had my Turbo since July 2020. No issues and I enjoy the car everyday. 18,000 miles.
The car is limiting you from damaging the battery.
Sounds like you need a Tesla.
Bought a 2030 Turbo new in June 2020.
The car has been perfect, no issues, and I love driving it.
17,000 miles to date.
Has it depreciated? Yes! Who cares.
2020 Turbo. I got the tire and wheel Coverage. Not cheap. I think $3000. But I curbed the two passenger side rims going through a bank drive through and they were repaired perfectly. Although I guess its only about $150/wheel retail.
Also had nails in two rear tires. Porsche won't let you...
I just had my 24 month service completed on Monday. Brake fluid and some air filter plus a software upgrade.
No cost.
I do not have an extended warranty.
11,000 miles
I have a 2020 Turbo, Dolomite silver with red interior.
Very similar options other than the Burmeister (didn't feel it was worth the money)
I have the Sport Design sides but didn't care for the front look.
Obviously personal preference.
Great vehicle after almost 2 years and 10,000 miles!
I will have had my Turbo 2 years in June. almost 10,000 miles. Love the car! I have not had any issues. Dolomite silver, red leather, performance and premium packages +. My first EV and 4th Porsche.
I love the acceleration and the smoothness of the electric motors.
As far as options:
sport...
I have had my Turbo for 16 months now with 8500 miles. Love it. No need for the TS IMO.
I don't see the value in the ceramic brakes. Love the coated ones since there is NO brake dust!
I got the wheel protection and glad I did. I curbed the two passenger side wheels. Repaired at no cost. Also a screw in a rear tire and replaced at no cost.
I live in the Great Lakes snow belt. We average 120" per year. I drove my Taycan Turbo last winter but not when there was significant snow on the ground.
Just don't want to risk an accident.
I got the coverage and glad to have it. I curbed the passenger side wheels going through a bank drive through. Repaired perfectly, no charge.
then a slow leak on a rear tire. Nail. Replaced no charge.
17 /5500 is a .2% probability of this happening. I'm sure I would be very upset if it happened to me but I don't consider that to be a widespread problem. I doubt there will be any recall.
My thought is that a lot of the problems relate to the dealer not checking the vehicle before delivery...
I have a 2020 Turbo, delivered in June of last year. Just had the update done and no issues.
Is there an actual count of the number of these bricked vehicles? Sometimes reading the forums it can seem like everyone is having a problem when in fact it is a very small number.
I thought Porsche...
