My hope is that if enough of us notify Porsche maybe they will do something but it seems we have all been told this sound is normal based on the replies here. I have learned to live with it as 99% of the time my radio is on and the noise is barely noticable anyway, but i still hope they will...
Interesting, they might have changed something.
When I asked on the norwegian facebook group in august no one out of like 6 people had heard this sound, but it is not that loud inside the car so for example my dad barely noticed it and only when I pointed it out to him.
Yeah after i made this post i told the dealer and got to try another car with the exact same sound. They therefore said it is not an issue.
I can just imagine this part failing just after warranty because it sounds like it is adjusting something mechanical way too often. I guess we will have to...
I have never heard that in mine. Can you feel anything on the screen when the sound is there? Was wondering if it could be the haptic feedback system going crazy.
I just found out that the sound is only there with the AC on. I do have the heat pump, but not sure if it is related. I asked on a norwegian facebook group and no one has the same sound, and all of them should have the heat pump option.
I got this one for mine:

i am very happy with it. It can be split if there will be another passenger...
Some times with the AC on there is a sound coming from the firewall somewhere that sounds like a servo motor regulating itself. I can hear this from within the car while driving and when it appears it stays for a long time.
Here is a clip of it happening, recorded under the hood of the car...
I ordered the 7.5m cable option, but i still got a 3m(3.5?) cable with my charger as well. I was told that there was a supply/factory issue and that i would be able to swap to a 7.5m later at a Porsche Center.
I always press the park button and then the power button and then lock.
From the manual:
"If the vehicle is switched off using the power button on an incline or gradient, the electric parking brake may not be activated. The vehicle can roll away. -> Always press the P button to activate the...
Heatpump is a must here yeah!
I might consider removing the passenger screen. I dont see much use for it right now, but i thought they might add some features later that might be practical.
I did not add 4 wheel steering because of reliability concerns, and that it included powersteering plus...
Looks good!
1: Sport Chrono gives the dial on the steering wheel so you can change drive mode more easy when already driving. That is the reason i am including it in my build. The steering wheel also gets visible bolts, if you are into that.
2: There has been mentioned in a video that there is...
