Does the Taycan use a skateboard chassis?

    Is the Taycan being built on a skateboard chassis like Tesla and Rivian where all the major components (batteries, wheels, suspension, motors, etc) are all packaged together?

    Looks like it. And probably scalable so they can use the same skateboard chassis for all their upcoming electric models throughout the Porsche model range.

    Note the discontinuity in battery cells at the feet in the back seat. The advantage to this deign is the foot height can be normal. In the proposed Tesla Roadster everyone bites the step up. There, like the S, 3 and X... batteries are continuous in the skateboard front to back.

    To be determined if there is any impact on battery performance & management.

    Different than the "MEB" platform though?
