How fast do you think the top trim will accelerate to 100kph?

How fast will it accelerate 0-100kph?

What do you think it will end up being for the top trim level once production models are tested?

We know Porsche is very conservative but even now a few days before official release we don’t know how fast it launches. This is of course not the only metric of importance and I trust that it will “drive like a Porsche” but let’s see who gets it right!

Anything 2.8 secs and below is more than enough.

How are you going to decide who got it right? My guess for the "official" number from Porsche is 2.8s 0-100km/h. European magazines testing with full tank, including 75kg for a passenger etc, will get something like that. For 0-60mph in US magazines, with 1ft rollout, no passenger etc, I expect 2.5s or less for a Turbo S with overboost.

European tests, since its a European car, and I did mention 0-100kph as opposed to 0-60mph.

I hate the sound of a half full tank of electrons especially on sharp curves when they slosh around in the battery pack! :)

So Porsche’s now official claim is for 2.8s 0-100kph, but, if they continue to be conservative with their published specs, it might actually test faster! I guessed 2.6s, which might be too optimistic. No matter what, we’re talking incredible performance....
