Enjoy the first official photos of the production Taycan, masked in official camo for now. We've enhanced the lighting in some of the photos for a better look, as well as zooming in on the first look at the production interior (from a top-down angle).

"While the new-generation 911 remains the definition of the authentic sports car, the upcoming Taycan outlines the days that come." -- Porsche

Looks nice low and sleek in the first image! Fenders definitely toned down from Mission E but the hood still drops down enough for a good contrast in height.

Two different wheel designs in the 2 sets of images.

Yes. It was pretty obvious to me that the "mules" were fairly close to the final design.

All the panels were in place and it was naive to assume that there would be dramatic changes/a clever ploy from Porsche going on.

The front section will look pretty close to the Cross Turismo.

Where were these posted by Porsche?

Aside from the graphics, there's still a fair amount of camouflage going on around the headlights and front aero features, the tail lights and rear light bar, as well as the glass behind the c-pillar; areas that have been heavily camouflaged all along. Happy to see the roof appears to retain the creases from the Mission E, considering the mules have not been consistent in this regard. I do wonder if the roof will be trim dependent, similar to the 911.

Otherwise, the biggest takeaway is that instrument panel and dash.

For those hoping for a departure from the development mules, sorry to say that's just not how modern automotive manufacturing works.

Lovely! In the first picture it seems to have a very low and sporty silhouette, same in the fourth! It's got amazing proportions..

OMG I WANT MY REFUNDABLE AND LOW COST DEPOSIT BACK! PORSCHE WILL RUE THE DAY THEY DECIDED TO FOIL ME! EGADS!

Just kidding, I'm an adult, with realistic expectations... and I'm excited more about the tech and meaning behind the car than I am the looks of it.

Totally agree! It’s starting to get embarassing... seems the wait till September is the hardest for the marketing guys at Porsche :D

Clearly they are starting to try and soften the blow for those who expect a 99% Mission E. And attracting new pre-orders to the actual Taycan. When reading interviews with Porsche officials they also seem to oversell the idea of no engine sound. It’s better IMO to just admit that this does of course take away from the «sports car experience». I was 99% sold on a Model S, but the test drive killed it for me. I’m a big F1 fan and I’ll never stop missing the naturally aspirated V10 engines - which is music in my ears! :involve:

Wonder if this is final and, if it is, why don't they just unveil it already? Patience in a fast-moving space like EV is a lot to ask - especially if they're hoping to pick up non-P-car crowd. I know they want their big reveal in September on home turf but still...

Side mirrors? No center wheel nut? Glass covering headlamps? No "suicide" doors?

No Mission E style front/rear fenders no sale.
Looks awful to me (I'm happy for you if you like it)
This looks like an electric Panamera. The Audi E-Tron GT looks better than this! Hoping/wishing this is a joke.

Besides the uncovered dash, nothing new about the things we've seen before really...

Indeed. Seems like it's just one of the mules.

Which, yes, is what the Taycan will look like (plus whatever flares and accents are being hidden by camo).

Will the production look better than the mules? Yes. Will it be significantly different? No. But wheels and accent flare make a world of difference and they're clearly hiding a modest bit of flare.
