This car is so beautiful. A future classic, I think.
Looks even better in live video!
wow!...… but it does not seem to be Carmine red unless of course Porsche has changed the look of Carmine red...………. And as far as I know signal red is not yet available.... or?
That’s what I thought initially but it’s because the venue lights are so bright! Here is a photo I took when the lights were low for the presentation
Check it out, I keep finding better and better looking angles of it, it's so beautiful
I swear Porsche isn't very good at taking pictures of their own cars. Even their configurators kinda make some of the cars look odd.
These journalist/amateur photos of Taycan at Frankfurt and on the street provide a much better perspective. The Taycan is simply gorgeous. Really looks more 911 than Panamera in my opinion. Can't wait!
From yesterdays Porsche Event on IAA.
Interesting thinks for me:
-Mission E Wheel Looks better complete black than in white.
-glass roof has no sun blind
-gold interior looks better than dark silver
-Rear footages are very small (you can not put the foot under the front seat)
-only the glass roof has a receptacle for a roof box
-the glass roof brings about 5cm more seat height
VERY helpful observations on the glass roof.....makes it a no brainer to get!! 5 more centimeters is significant!
already, but I find that it has no rollo is a bigger disadvantage. I'm 1.86 and had enough space up, even with the normal roof.
For many vehicles so far, I usually have the roof closed, as no heat radiation / cold on the head is noticeable. When I open the rollo, it is uncomfortably cool in the winter on my head. just as inverse when the sun shines out on the outside, then the roof of my S coupe radiates warmly inwards.
apparently the guys at BMW blog were impressed with the car.
