of course there are but that is still not my point...….. just that, as original equipment, as on the 992 and before it the concept car our beloved Mission E, it would be great if Porsche kept the idea for the Taycan as well, to give it a more aggressive look! that was all. thank you and out on this subject. :)

Hi I’m new to the forum and need help!

I’m a Tesla Model S owner with 3 young kids.

Tesla in the UK are currently offering me a great deal to swap my 3 year old 75D for a new P100D for very little extra. The deal is available until the end of June.

However ideally I would instead hold on to current car and jump into a Taycan ASAP

My desperately burning question is around the uncertainty over which Taycan model will have 2+1 rear set up and when a model with this set up will be released?

Will the Taycan have this or will I need to wait for a Turismo model? And when will the Turismo land in the UK ?

Any up to date guidance on this would be greatly received.

I’m happy to wait but not do long I may as well have had a new Tesla for a while!

Felixtb! Dont know if it was you or not but yes, The size of a wheel can make a car look completely different! And yes, the 992 looks greats with the 20"/21" combo!

Guys...I think that besides our diference of opinions..i suppose everybody here in the forum wants the Taycan to be a winner and i really think it´s going to be and judging by the spy photos until now i really think it´s going to be faithful in most part to he Mission E.

Well, I mean...if you don't like something...pull up the old boot straps and do something about it. Stock cars are boring.

Actually, after thinkng about it for a bit and doing some research, forged P1 or P2 HRE wheels might be a good option rather than paying extra for cast aluminum Porsche wheels...

    I got another question:
Does the Taycan have autonomous driving?

    You're right.

We all want the Taycan to be a winner, I was expecting it to be the best looking saloon of the 2020s...and even judging by the spy shots I still think it will be, by a fair margin.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish it looked more like the Mission E - I think they should have kept the rear spoiler at least in the form it was in the Mission E, or at least ensured the rear end was a bit more sharply pronounced, or stopped trying to prioritise rear headroom in what's supposed to be a sports sedan, I mean if you want to have lots of rear headroom, go buy a Cayenne or a Macan. Porsche made a mistake trying to pander to people that wanted more rear headroom.

But that said, remember the competition for this car. The Tesla Model S. The Audi E-Tron GT. The BMW 5 series, Mercedes E-class and Jaguar XF (even though the last 3 are not electric, they compete length wise with the Mission E). The Taycan is wider than all save the E-Tron GT. The Taycan is lower and sportier than all save the E-Tron GT. The Taycan is considerably better looking and sleeker than all of these models - including the E-Tron GT. Hell, from the front it looks very beautiful indeed-very sporty, the profile of a 2-door coupe! I wish the rear had the Mission E integrated spoiler, and the line between the end of the c pillar and the beginning of the boot was not so rounded, but instead more of a sharp break like on the Mission E, but the spy shots for the rear are bad, and almost every mule seems to be unreasonably jacked up in ride height so making a judgement on the rear is a little difficult at this stage. But I nonetheless have high hopes

Biggest battery will be in both versions - Turbo & Turbo S.
Sadly I don't know the exact difference. But I think it will be just minor in form of more exclusive options and more horsepower.

I can't answer you Questions regarding the Price.

Just minor Things like more Carbon parts.

I think it will be an option for every model of the Taycan.
And yes the Turismo will be also available in the UK..but not before 2021.

Yes, it will come with Level 2 of outonomous driving.

I heard about the possibility for an induction charging option that will be available upon release. Thus a wireless charging pad that will trickle charge the vehicle, perhaps over night. Do you know if this is likely/possible?

This sounds awesome, but I'm confused as to the physics of it.
