I totally agree with door frames. Most people grab the glass in the Taycan when opening the car (so lots of fingerprints on the glass), just as most people grab the door/window frame (i.e., the top 1/3 of the door) in regular cars to open the door wide. Frames around windows also give more...
My wish list:
(1) physical switches for climate controls, like in the new Cayenne, Panamera, and Macan Electric.
(2) a decent center-storage cover that is user-friendly.
(3) dual sun visors on each side in front like the Cayenne has.
(4) the option (in the US) of an all-metal roof on a CT4.
(5)...
It's pretty much a fact that options to avoid (or "need") is extremely subjective ("highly individual", as you put it). For example, I'd never option any wheels larger than what comes from the factory in a BEV, where larger wheels reduce range. I'd also never option a sound system; the base...
It's been circulated that the Macan Electric will have either a 100- or 105-kWh battery pack. I assume that this pack will go into the Taycan, as well, in the next year.
Not sure how a CT4 with 19-inch wheels looks remotely like a Hyundai (attached photo)... Lots of subjective thinking on appearances of any car... I personally think that the CT looks much (not infinitely, whatever that is supposed to mean) better than the sedan version.
I think that the more expensive the Taycan, the quicker (greater percentage) of depreciation you'll get (i.e., the steeper the curve). It makes sense, because people who can afford (and pay) $150k USD for a new Taycan won't be in the market for a used Taycan, ever -- so they can't be sold...
Do range data have any use if speed/temperature are not included? Every driver drives differently in terms of average speed, weather conditions, etc. There's stop-and-go normal, daily, non-highway-speed driving "around town", and then there's highway driving; some mix these daily, others do...
Regarding the defroster issue, I'm mystified as to why Porsche has had the nifty silver-coated heated windshield option in Cayennes and Macans since model year 2019 (brought over from other cars in the VW Group), but it has yet to offer it as an option in the Panamera or Taycan. I got it in my...
Porsche has been releasing information the last few weeks on the Macan Electric, regarding the larger battery pack and improved tech:

I agree about the last expectation: bigger battery pack. The Macan Electric will have a 107-kWh pack, I think it was reported recently, so the updated Taycan is likely to get that also. The biggest other thing that most people would like to see in a Taycan "refresh" is simply a better...
