My turn for a 12v failure.

Similar story here (started with alarm too). Eventually on the third P.Assist call-out in a 2 week period, the AA guy drove my car to the dealership (and got a taxi back later for his van). Porsche said they had recently received "new advice" on Taycan 12v issues and my battery had been...

12V drain on leaving car standing.

Same issue here. Now at my dealers who tell me they have not replaced the 12v but have received some info from Germany and some "wiring changes" should sort it. I'm sceptical.

How many of you with Taycans have rear doors that open smoothly ( when opening the doors )

Happening on my front passenger window. Been told something needs replaced inside the door and parts on order.

RECALL : UK ONLY THREAD: Brake Hose Pipes (ARB0) - 21,466 cars will be recalled.

Mine done last week too. Feel much better now. Braking starts much nearer the top of the pedal with less dead zone.

Has anyone experienced rear window catching issues

Have this on front passenger window and asked them to take a look while it was in last week for brake recall. They say something has failed in door and parts ordered. Awaiting call to book in again.

Anyone else got Porsche Connect problems?

Noticed SoC not being reported correctly on my app for last few days

Used Car - Connect and other services after 3 years.

UK, year old second hand car - 1. The remaining 2 years of Connect service was included. 2. Tracker has to be paid for if I want to use it

RECALL : UK ONLY THREAD: Brake Hose Pipes (ARB0) - 21,466 cars will be recalled.

Is it normal for the brake pedal to travel quite a bit before anything happens?

    Auto Regen?

Love that blip and down change :) Only happens around 30mph though so not really useful when driving enthusiastically. All this one-pedal stuff I'm talking about is mostly for the more mundane day to day driving, rather than at ten tenths.

    Auto Regen?

Nothing about the Taycan's weak regen feels remotely like a down shift or engine breaking.

    Auto Regen?

Yes in the Taycan, hence my preference for 'proper' one-pedal driving/regen like my other EVs.

    Auto Regen?

Evan cars as old as the original leaf blend regen and friction brakes using the brake pedal. This is all normal EV stuff for a decade or more.

    Auto Regen?

Most EV brands including young Chinese companies can all do this, so any perceived "complexity" will hardly be beyond Porsche engineers. It's also not for "no purpose". For many (not all) it's a very relaxed way to drive. I agree it will be interesting to watch future developments across the...

    Auto Regen?

The situations like this I find myself in require retardation to keep with in the speed limit, so regening.

    Auto Regen?

Coasting is great with a clear road ahead. But when you need to slow down (or are descending an incline), then regen is required for maximum efficiency.
