Many of you know that last year we introduced a tool that scans the Porsche Taycan high-voltage battery using nothing more than an inexpensive ENET cable.

This year we’re taking it to the next level with support for every control module in the Taycan, adding coding, programming, and dealer-level firmware flashing without PIWIS whatsoever. Functions include Dyno Mode activation, Matrix LED activation on US-spec cars, air suspension ride height adjustment, and even performing firmware campaigns such as ARB6 right from your own garage (of course with the necessary precautions of ensuring you are using 12V battery charger by measuring battery voltage before starting programming and the software will refuse programming if no charger is used, also all ECU codings are backed-up server side per car before modifying anything)

Basically any functionality supported by PIWIS 4 will be supported by STEUER14 as all the diagnosis, actual values, actuations, coding & programming data has been reverse engineered and dumped from PIWIS

PS: Upon initial release Taycan, Cayenne 9AY, Panamera 971 & 992 will be supported. On further releases support will be extended to Macan EV and finally on yet another further release support will be extended to include J2534 devices as well as support for older Porsche models (ie: Cayenne 958, Panamera 970 etc)

PS: Yes for all those asking PCM updates will be available, including update to 43XX on 9J1.1 Taycan via a firmware patched by CT14 to launch update from versions 3882 or 3885.

However this will be behind manual approval, and with clear warnings that there are REAL possibilities of bricking your PCM. And once that happens there is NO FIX WHATSOEVER except replacing the PCM unit (which requires clearing component protection with PIWIS and PPN)
CT14 will not and shall not be held liable for any damages or monetary losses from starting this update.

This is a bug with Porsche's PCM and has nothing to do with us, we also have no way of fixing this or improving your chances. Even official Porsche dealers brick PCMs during updates quite frequently. There is nothing I or anyone can do about it.


Trust me I'm more annoyed than anyone else, as an independent garage which services over 200 Taycans we have also bricked our fair share of PCMs and have had to pay them out of pocket....

That is if you change parts (PCM or Instrument Cluster, etc). nothing to do with coding or flashing.


On newer models SFD2 is a thing though, without unlocking it no coding or flashing is possible. STEUER-14 will have a manual SFD2 exchange so you can retrieve an SFD2 token, pay someone online to calculate SFD2 unlock hash and send it back to you where you can enter it into STEUER-14 and unlock SFD2 for your car. At some point I might automate and provide this service myself directly from STEUER-14

Hi, will this support changing settings on J1.2 Taycans? I have a 2025 Turbo CT and would like to enable Innodrive and change region for suspension (I'm in Australia, we only get standard and raised suspension modes, not lowered)

Me too!
And you know what?
With STEUER14 it's also possible to reset the service interval.
Pretty handy if you want to do your own maintenance like cabin filter, brake fuid flush or brake pads!
