I have always left my Chevy Bolt plugged in since day one for this very reason. Yes the 12v battery is a lead acid. When the charge light comes on and stays on for some time I know the car is trickle charging. It is designed to do that. I could not understand Taycan owners that would not leave...

Reservation holder for close to 3 years for R1T, canceled. Canceled Model S and ate the deposit. Taycan build completed today. I don't know if I was sick of the Rivian forum or just decided I didn't need the truck.

WHY do car manufacturers keep putting piano black panels all over the dash and consoles? So we will buy one of the options.
