So…..am on my second day of ownership, pick-up was very smooth from Cambridge Porsche, made even better with Zenith organising so that I could hand over the Model X and get straight into my Taycan.

Hmmm maybe something to ask for instead of the normal gash freebies like mug, pen etc that some dealers try to sweeten when something has gone wrong or delayed….
Should be straight forward to fit yourself, just check that wire connectors are intact. Order new from parts department, connect wires and should just clip back in.
No tracker or ability to access build phot, final spec check was end July, Sept build slot, informed end of Sept shipping, looks like 2 weeks shipping to dealer, Monday arrived at dealer, Tues/Wed PDI, Thur pic up.
4 hr drive from where I live to Cambridge, drop off and pick up, then drive...
…so after Thursday, will need to find a subject other than waiting to complain/write about….

Told Sept build, two weeks ago it was being shipped to UK and apparently now about to get PDI’d for Thursday…. So a little fasted paced but get the feeling dealer was being cautious with definitive dates…..but with the ups and downs this year, not surprised.
……’well I never’…… just had email from Porsche Cambridge, Taycan ready to pick-up this Thursday, just waiting to see if I can ‘dump off’ my model x at the same time……
