KRZ Films in Rocklin, CA did my Taycan a little over a year ago upon delivery and my friends Taycan at the same time. Kevin is very professional and highly recommended.
I will echo everything said here mostly. Having owned a 996, 997, and a 991.1, all manuals, a 911 is something special. If I could have both, I would. If I could buy another 911 right now, it would be a 991.2 T or .1 S, in a manual in a tasty color combo. 991 values were going up when I sold...
The door placard is for full load, and is waaaaayy to high for my 21 Mission Es. And the car rides like shit when it's up at these cold pressures. I've been using the partial load, 21" summer tire pressures which from my recollection are 34 front 36 rear and make for a much more comfortable...
This is great to read. I didn't go for the "prepaid" $750 first year service, and even now that the first year has passed I skipped it as the SA said the brake flush could wait till year 2.
I'm actually more interested in the inspection and drains cleaned/inspected than I am with the brake...
Air isn't a molecule....... it's a mix of molecules. But I'm sure you already know that since you're the one trolling now........ lol......
A quick search...... there's plenty of reading on it........
"Compressed air often contains water vapor, which will ”oxidize” metal parts of your tire...
Anyone who has run N2 in their tires will see the value in this small expense over air.
My experience has been- less frequent topping up as the nitrogen molecule is much larger and therefore doesn't pass through the rubber compound as quickly.
Also- due to the lack of water vapor, the pressure...
Preheat the battery with charger navigation, charge from low SOC (2-20%), utilize a 350kW charger thats not being split with another car, and charge speeds of 250-265kW and 20 mins for 80% are very doable. Done it myself.
Is stickerless sunvisors a Manufaktur option? Never heard of such a thing? Thats awesome.
Love the PTS color choice by the way.... just bright and unique enough to set the car apart even more. Like it more than Acid Green, and not as in your face as either that or Gelbgrun or Birch Green...
I've owned a 996- never again. LOL. Horrible 90s feeling interior, sticky buttons, fried egg headlights, etc. Its funny they are gaining a resurgence, partly because they can be had in the high teens and 20's probably. The 997 is such a better car, and the 991 that much more than that even IMO.
I sold a 991.1 S coupe, 7 speed with very loud sport exhaust for the Taycan. I don't regret doing it.
If I could still have that car, would I? Yes of course. The 991 is a blast to drive, very fast in a very different way, but funny enough the Taycan gets more interest and attention that even the...
Don't know if people have seen this yet, but Kyle Connor wins again with another badass YouTube video on his Out of Spec Motoring channel. Looks like it was filmed back in the summer but is only uploaded now.
The Taycan just tears up the Autobahn, and his in depth commentary and observations...
I wasn't going to take my car my car in for the 1st year service, now at 24,000 miles. The dealership even told me, yeah, just have it done next year. One year is kinda optimistic they said...... I'll do the cabin filter I think myself even..........
I noticed something interesting the other day..... the lift off recuperation in Sport mode is much milder than in Normal mode. I don't drive in Sport mode much... but it was definitely much less recuperation that I'm used to.
