  1. ULTIMATE FUSION PPF new for 2022

I have this on my front bumper. To be honest, I can barely tell the difference compared to regular XPEL ultimate. But my installer said it’s thicker and harder to install. And because of the thickness, sometimes it does not stay folded over the edges.
  2. Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

I have both. Porsche looks better on the outside, Mercedes looks better on the inside. But thats just my opinion. Mercedes has a more limo like ride whereas the Porsche feels sportier. Sound insulation is better on the Mercedes. Overall, the Mercedes feels more fully featured, but it just...
  3. [ANNOUNCED] - PMCC tech advisory : charging rate amperage lowered for "normal" usage of the PMCC (rate reduced by half)

But how do I lower the amperage myself? I only have the basic charger.
  4. Latest Taycan Software Update Findings and Reviews Thread

The best part of the uPdate for me is that it has been far more stable. No more random error messages.
  5. Taycan Technician Shortage of Vancouver BC area

I don't want to say too much, but trust me, the last thing you want to do is pay a visit to the Tesla service centre. I just came back from my Porsche service, and I was amazed that a human being spoke to me.
  6. Taycan Technician Shortage of Vancouver BC area

Tesla is not better. They may give Uber credits, but the service is terrible. My car got trashed at Tesla, but at Porsche, it came back in perfect condition. Grass is always greener on the other side.
  7. Taycan Technician Shortage of Vancouver BC area

It’s true that the update takes 2 days. I just did it. It updates to the latest operating system and it has totally bogged down the service department. So much for over the air updates, right? That’s why the VW CEO was just replaced. I don’t have the VIP package. Fortunately I have several...
  8. Taycan Technician Shortage of Vancouver BC area

I’m also in Vancouver. Maybe they just have not had time to diagnose your car. It’s only been two days and I know they are backed up. They may also have to wait for parts due to the shortage. Give it a couple more days to see if they can diagnose the issue.
  9. Latest Taycan Software Update Findings and Reviews Thread

So, what exactly is new in this update? All I see is coloured icons, different homelink button locations, CarPlay in a new location, Android auto. I don't see any range difference on my 2022 Taycan. I don't really find it any more responsive than the last software, if anything, it's very subtle...
  10. Homelink Profile - I don’t get it…

I will never use auto open again. There was one time where my Model X computer has to be rebooted, and the second I put the car in drive, it triggered the signal and started closing the garage door on me. Not expecting this, I immediately reversed but not enough, and the door clipped my hood...
  11. Latest Taycan Software Update Findings and Reviews Thread

Just got the ANA8 update and all my icons are colourful. I was told I was the first to get it in Vancouver at my dealership.
  12. Car sitting at dealer with 100% battery, not ideal?

Haha. Something similar to me happened when I brought my car into service and they charged it to 100%. I kinda freaked a bit, but nothing I could do. I just kept telling myself that the car is software limited to 85% I think, so it wouldn't hurt the battery. Took me two hours to drive the...
  13. New PCM Update - Read this before you make an appointment

Was it the ANA6 campaign? Is the car buggy at all?
  14. New PCM Update - Read this before you make an appointment

Oh wow. I thought that was weird that a flickering screen update would take 10 hours. Thank you for the confirmation.
  15. ANA6 recall uPdate Update

OK. But my dealer told me that the ANA6 update takes 10 hours. I find that odd esp if it's not the PCM update.
  16. ANA6 recall uPdate Update

Yes, but is the ANA6 update really the MY23 PCM update? Or does it just fix flickering screens?
  17. Major software update announcement coming July 13th…

So my car is currently doing the ANA6 update. Yes I have also heard that it is for flickering screens, but the weird thing is that the dealer said the update takes 10 hours. That's a very long time just for "flickering screens".
