Anyone here concerned about excessive inner tire wear if in the lowest settings all the time due to the camber changes? The car lowers itself over a certain highway speed but straight line wear is probably different. But hey, maybe the gas money saved = more tires!
Another super annoying thing with the Porsche UI. Doesn’t maintain connectivity to CarPlay/Apple maps so you have to keep refreshing the connection within the Porsche app to make it work. Honestly, I just use Google Maps because it has fewer weird directions than Apple Maps for me.
I agree- the physical brake feeling is odd compared to the regen braking. There is a lot of mass to this car and when it is using the physical brakes (mine are not PCCBs), I have to adjust brake pedal pressure. Makes it a little scary when it feels like it’s not going to stop behind the car in...
Totally agree. It’s not even really a special Porsche part. It is common in many VAG cars. Don’t need any special skills to do it yourself. With pollen season about to hit, I’ll probably change it again afterwards.
I have it and think it looks nice, especially with a lighter interior. But if I rest my arm on the driver door rest, the wood panel squeaks incessantly! Because these cars are pretty quiet, it gets annoying. I have another squeak somewhere on my driver’s side dash that is also bugging me.
Mine (2022 4S CT) does this. A slight scraping noise from the left front. The action of the standard braking is very different than the regen braking so it is a surprising feeling of needing to add additional brake pedal pressure to slow the car to a stop, sometimes surprisingly more. The car is...
Thanks! That is exactly what it feels like- a little gritty with initial braking as if the rotors are a little dirty which would not be happening if it was motor braking. It’s my daily driver so it happening after 2 months was kind of strange. It’s been pretty humid/rainy here more recently so...
I have a relatively new to me 2022 4S CT. Over the past week, I’ve noticed that initially with driving, the regen electric braking doesn’t seem active. The brake pedal feel is slightly different and the regen green light meter on the center cluster isn’t active. After a minute or so, things will...
Great story and your enthusiasm for the brand is obvious. The PEC in Atlanta is super fun. You don’t need to sweat any details. As another poster said those will be nicely organized for you. Your only job is to have fun. You can probably show up in an old t shirt and swim trunks and they will...
I have to admit the cabin squeaks in this car are annoying. My friend also is experiencing them. They are so hard to isolate! I think one of mine is from the junction of the plastic frame of the drivers LCD display and the top left dash panel. I’m tempted to jam a toothpick in there to see if it...
This is the way. If the remote control with the PCM doesn’t work, using the “learn” button on the opener followed by sync from the car will work. The learning signal should last about 90 seconds so you don’t have to panic about setting it from the car. Also, set the location so that the opener...
I see the option to switch units in the phone app but not within the watch app (on the phone and on the watch itself). The data do seem to sync among the car, phone app, and the watch app. The Porsche engineers make great cars, the digital UX seems a bit behind. I was able to upload my G body...
For some reason, the info does show up on my Apple Watch but everything is in metric units (I’m in the US). The app on my phone is in imperial units. Tried restarting both apps (phone first) but the units won’t sync. Really the only data info I’m really interested in is the SoC and interior...
