I don't fully understand why there is so much price variation between Porsche dealerships for a warranty that is provided by Porsche itself. Is it just that each dealership is given the freedom to mark up these policies by however much they want? (and in this instance, Kelli your dealership is...
State of charge has a discount code available too - STATEOFCHARGE. I think it might be more than 5%? Not sure. Noted this when I watched his report on the topic.
Just following up - today both the Porsche and NHTSA websites show no open recalls for my car. So as others have said - just took a bit of time (about 2 weeks) for my dealer to submit the info to Porsche and for things to get updated.
Again, ditto for me - have been checking both websites since the dealer did the ARB6 update on August 1, and both still show the recall.
I’ve not bothered calling dealer yet, hoping it would fix itself with more time….
Actually, this isn't correct. I just got my Taycan back from Porsche to do the ARB6 recall (since I couldn't get it OTA!), and they also fixed this issue. They had to reset something, but basically no major equipment malfunction or anything. I now show LTE in the PCM, without having a Connect...
Let me ask my question more directly, in hopes of getting a response: do people who have let their Connect subscription expire still show a "connected" symbol on their PCM? i.e. it says "LTE" or whatever, and not the two arrows with a slash through them?
I wanted to be sure that I've got all things in place for me to receive the OTA update for the battery management software that some have already started to receive. When driving today, I noticed in the PCM that the network connectivity symbol shows no connection (two opposite facing arrows...
My build date was October 9, 2020, per the window sticker. I am not the original owner, so can't say definitively if it ever had battery modules replaced, but from what I could see in the service records when I purchased it (CPO), nothing like that occurred - very clean history.
Follow up on VirtualBox on Mac - as suggested, I just went ahead and installed a Boot Camp partition and that was much easier in the end. If anyone does have success with VirtualBox though, would love to hear it, so I can reclaim all that space on my Mac...
Here's my results - 2020 4S PB+ 33k...
I've tried running the app in VirtualBox running Windows 10 as a guest on my Intel Mac host, but it doesn't seem to detect the car. USB C --> USB A --> Ethernet adapter. Have others used VirtualBox successfully? If so, any tips? I'm definitely capturing the USB device, and Windows says it's...
Just being sure - is this the appropriate cable from Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/Yalgdlen-OBDii-Ethernet-bimmercode-bootmod3/dp/B0DG4WWMMJ/
And thank you for providing this tool!

Not high. Then again it’s not happened since, either before or after the “fix,” so might just be one of those enigmatic gremlins that crept up for some us. Unsettling for sure, but I’m trying to just ignore it and hope for the best! ??♂️
In fact I just received the car back a few days ago, after they completed a number of recalls (including the brake hoses) and also looked at the issue we're talking about here.
It was all complicated by the fact that for some reason, they couldn't communicate normally with the car through the...
I had almost this exact problem myself a month or so ago, and posted in this thread about it:

I drove it very cautiously through till last week, almost a month, with zero...
That's a really nice option for adding wireless charging in a discrete spot, thanks for sharing! I presume your iPhone doesn't overheat there? And also is it OK to place non-charging items (especially something metal) there? I've never had a charging pad before so have no experience....
