There are two ways to control charge anytime, via your car, or via the charger if compatible. If both are, then the preferred method is to control the charger. In this case, set your max charge level via the porsche app (or in your car directly) using a simple profile. The charger can't...
For the foot wave, after waving your foot, taking a positive step backwards seems to help.
Reverse mirror tilt. You need to set it to the reverse position manually the first time before the auto tilt will work. Select reverse, and for you, the right wing mirror button on the door will light up...
Yep, get it most days. I’m just up the road from a primary (or junior as they call it down south) school. Normally a 30, but 20 during school start/ kicking out time.
To clarify, the user manual calls them side ledges. The rear pair have baggage hooks on them. It’s easy to leave the rear pair folded in. If they are left folded in, the parcel shelf rattles against the rear boot/trunk lid when closed. Folding them out as per the user manual holds the shelf...
Is it an ST/CT? If so, make sure the two hooks in the boot/trunk are folded out. They help clamp the parcel shelf in position and stop it rattling. This rattle when driving sounds like it’s coming from the dash/door area.
I use my Indra pro with OVO charge anytime as opposed to the car. That way the EVSE doesn’t know the state of charge so always starts to charge straight away. I just use the cars general profile to set the charge limit…normally 85% but occasionally a timer set to 100% with a set departure time...
Porsche Reading doing mine 7/8th Aug. Luckily school holidays so my wife who works in a school is around, so no loan car needed…would have been September otherwise. Seems there is another recall on mine (built Dec 2023) that involves the reprogramming of some thermal monitoring system. Hence the...
The spoiler deployed indicator is immediately to the right of the suspension lift indicator. If you don’t have air suspension, the indicator for the spoiler is a white car symbol with what looks like the boot open, to the far right of the instrument cluster, under the clock. Try putting the...
I’ve edited my post and crossed with you to provide more info. At least two of my local Taycan owners quite happily use the same system as me and it all works the same.
Nope, a profile that is not home location will not charge immediately. Have been using this since I’ve had the car and it does not charge until my preferred times.
To be fair, I have my preferred times set in my wall box as opposed to the car. My point is, that with a location independent...
Yes, you can. Either via your charging unit, or directly on the car. The point is that optimised charging will charge at your preferred times, however you set that, as opposed to charging as soon as plugged in.
It’s the home profile that’s the problem. As stated above, it assumes that the minimum level you set is what you want as soon as possible, and will charge to this straight away. Your timers then kick in and continue charging.
If you want to stop at 80%, then set (from inside the car only as far...
Just remember that the Taycan is a Porsche that just happens to be electric. Buy it because it’s a bloody good sports car, not because you want an electric car. It’s not meant to compete with or be compared to a Tesla.
This is why I love a forum! I’d just narrowed the rattle down to the parcel shelf and this has sorted it. Had the parcel shelf out after an IKEA run to my daughter’s house and must have folded the hooks away without even thinking about it.
Also back to normal this morning for me. Not sure if it’s related, but also had an infotainment software update as soon as I got into the car this morning. Spotify connected as soon as this update completed.
