OBD info not readable by owners in 2025 Taycans?

I used OBD-scanner on my my26 Taycan 4S.. SOH showed 67,69% SoH at the first day at <100km on the clock. It was able to read the cell voltages and SoC. I used the same Dongle and Carscanner on my '23 Taycan. SoH was read correctly on that car.

When will the 2026's be available?

What you see there, is the name YOU can give yourself to your car in the app.

When will the 2026's be available?

I can only compare to my previous 2023 Taycan. There where already changes with the Taycan J1.2 I believe, so I don't know for sure what's different in my26, apart from (I believe) the App Centre

When will the 2026's be available?

So I got my car last week.. vin: WP0ZZZY16TSA***** I have the "App Centre", I think that, and that my vin has the T as 10th character confirm it is a my26. So the conclusion is, the my26 is available :)

Tire pressure question about 19 inch wheels

I assume Porsche knows the best pressure for each tire size. I trust them. I always use the recommended tire pressure + 0,2-0,3bar. (So that I don't have to inflate them again after a month of they lost 0,1-0,2). I little bit higher is fine, but I wouldn't go 0,5 bar+ over the recommended pressure

In defence of the PCM vs CarPlay

I only use Carplay for my Spotify, because I prefer it (user interface, speed, reliability) over the build-in Spotify. I also use CarPlay for calls. PCM navigation is okay, although sometimes it doesn't know a road is closed.

    Technical changes with MY26

In the configurator, it literally says "Taycan 4S 2026" (on the top-right of the screen). Also, On my order, to says: "Uw Taycan 4S (your Taycan) model 2026" I would presume that means model-year 2026.. My sales advisor confirmed it would be MY 2026. It is scheduled to leave the factory...

    Tracker key fob battery life

My key-fob battery lasted a year (I drive 35000km a year, I have keyless-access). Started using the spare key, which also lasted almost exactly a year. Both gave me a waring, after which they still lasted at least a week (then I replaced them)

    Part 2: The J1 Powertrain

Interesting thread. I drive a 2023 RWD, but ordered a new 2025 Taycan 4S. would be nice to know what the possibilities will be for a J1.2 4S (PB+)

🔋 Baseline for HV Battery SoH Performance (Battery Degradation Data by Taycan Owners)

I recently performed this balancing. Didn’t put the car in privacy-mode. I don’t think it really matters. Balancing will occur anyway. You also perform this method to calibrate the battery management system. the thing about not disturbing the car during the hold period is especially important...

    OBDEleven supports Taycan

I recently got the VCDS. Haven’t found the rear light with DRL. The problem is, many coding requires a security code. The codes aren’t all known.. I will dive into it a bit more soon.

are there things you can ‘program’ with OBD11? (for example, I would like the rear light to be on with DRL).

Perf. plus battery owners: 100% charge gives you how many mileage/km?

Usually at 80% it displays a range of +/- 300. (In summer maybe up to 320, in winter maybe 280). RWD with PB+ 21” wheels (range killer). I drive a lot of highway at 120-130kmh (75/80mph). Range is not that good, but enough for me. I rarely drive more than 250-300kms a day without a possibility...

What can you do with VCDS (Ross-tech)

I have ordered a Ross-tech HEX V2. I read on this forum it can be used to lower the Taycan. I’m curious what (other) functions can be programmed or altered via the VVDS. Does anyone have experience with it?

Redshift Performance - News & Updates - Secondary ECU in the mail without shipping original!

+ 15-20%. So RWD (with PB+) would go from 380hp without launch control to 476hp (launch control hp) +15% = 550hp (available AWAYS). so, a 44% increase at available power when driving without using launch control. I can’t wait to try! @Avantgarde not only does the RWD lack some torque, it seems...
