Just wanted to add that I love the double pane glass -- silence and less heat :) Also, the panoramic roof is so nice when sitting in the back; lots of sun and hot days here this summer, but the tinting is excellent and was no problem at all. IMHO. Really gives a free and open feeling.
(Btw...
I am planning a similar install thanks for the info!
Did you use the front passenger side fusebox? Or is there a fusebox in the trunk (that I did not know about :-) )? Thanks!
I love my Taycan Turbo and love to see great lap times , but..
I wish they would have used a real stock taycan turbo s -- the performance package seems a bit like a trick to put on race tires. The fun of the nurnbergring "production cars" times is that we can actually get such cars...
I got some puddle lights from addcarlights too, they contacted me by email to confirm the right lights and they arrived in about 3 weeks. I used the instructions in this thread to install it (thanks!) -- it was indeed quite easy and the (quartz) lights look great, very sharp and a bit brighter...
Unfortunately, they still did not fix the weird "greenish" tint for the Volcano Grey option in the configurator; it looks so different than the real color (which is beautiful I think :) ):
No worries, even at "100%", I think only about 84kwh of the 93kwh battery is actually in use; the battery management system already prevents a "true" 100% . (But of course, for really long term storage, i guess 50% is best, and for usual charging 85% is recommended)
Once I saw Volcano grey in real-life, it really grew on me. I don't think it is boring at all -- looks really good in the sunlight, very dark with beautiful metallic sheen. Most photos don't do it justice and in the configurator it looks off (kinda greenish while it is not like that at all)...
