I had the damper issue roo part of the new active suspension and also took about a month or two to figure out. Porsche quality has dropped dramatically. Been a Porsche customer for 30 years, unbelievable the crap they are selling now…. And to be clear, I love the Taycan! …when it works…
New barrage of major faults but they can't find out what's the problem.... in other words, normal Taycan performance.... It did go into limp mode until I parked it and locked it. Came back 30 mins later and car is working fine.... however it's at the shop. Car is a year old and has been at the...
It gets very hot charging the phone. In reality the phone charging should be outside the console not inside. In fact I have a USB cable for when I need to charge, putting the phone in the compartment reduces the signal doh....
Finally fixed this week. It was active ride, they changed both front struts and now seems to be working fine. Haven't tested it much because it's at the shop (AGAIN!) because wont connect to data systems even tho the app says it is connecting....🤦🏻♂️
I have air suspension on my 25 GT and in the last 9 months it has been 2 months at the shop for issues (still unresolved) with the air suspension. I believe if it works it is superior. When it works....
I get a chassis error. Started occasionally and got to two or three times a day. Been in the shop maybe 7 times and they have slowly changed parts, and now they are waiting on the front right strut to replace it. Thing is no one had seen this issue including at Porsche in Germany. Which is crazy...
Mine makes a humming noise while lifter. AND has been in the shop for two of the 9 months I have owned it. Another typical Taycan "beta test" the technology with consumers approach. And they still don't really know what the issue is....
I have active ride on my '25 Taycan GT Turbo. Been in the shop many times in the last 7 months (for maybe 7 weeks total) due to "chassis failure". They can't figure out what the issue is....
My first Taycan lived in the shop. My second one has an issue with the chassis that just would not go away - had it about 5 months and it's been at the shop 6 weeks already. Not to mention the day they delivered took 5 hours to do it because the car refused to connect to the servers. I took it...
Yes, Porsche has had individual issues over the years with few designs and specific items. Porsche has NEVER had a line of cars so bad that they are constantly in the shop. I love my toucan (second one I have) but I am not blind to the lack of quality control on this line. 😉
There was a time when Porsche stood for high quality and low defects. Times have changed. I love my Taycan but its a black eye on the reputation of Porsche brand.
