I switched my 911TT tires to Michelin ps4s(non-NF0) from the OEM N2 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Must say it was quite noticeable how much better they handled. I was agonizing about going off porsche-specific tires, but the PS4S are out of this world honestly. They do much better in colder temps...
I'm curious about you and others who have gone through such a long wait time without their car - what sort of compensation are you happy with from Porsche/dealer?
After all, if they can't provide an identical (or better) loaner, I imagine I'd be quite unhappy so demanding monetary compensation...
On a side note, be careful with using a car cover, especially if it gets windy outside. The issue is the flapping of the cover combined with dirt accumulation. It can create sanding action, causing rapid paint deterioration.
My detailer wants to disassemble the door trims in order to remove the side mirrors and door handles which would allow them to apply the door film much better on the outside of the doors.
This particular installer does all the hot cars around (lambos, ferraris, maclarens, etc) so they know their...

I have ~30days left till freeze. The intent is to keep the car for ~8yrs until Gen2.2 is out. It will be my DD and we do have. a family SUV for other duties. Buying at MSRP for those interested...

I currently DD my '11 997.2TT with 6speed - a unicorn car. I never thought i'd part with it, but last time I took it in for service, they gave me a taycan loaner. It was the first time in 7yrs of ownership that I found myself calling in with an excuse or two to extend the time they are holding...
Congrats! gorgeous color. I nearly bought a '21 currently in stock before deciding to order new. Mine is scheduled to arrive Feb next year as well!
I really like the exterior color with black-out wheels! I did go browsing the parking lot at the dealer and saw all sorts of combinations - not a...
