My wife never cared about cars... but ever since we got her this one and I wrapped it in her favorite color, she loves it and now rarely takes my car. And the spec came out exactly with everything she wants and nothing she does not care about. So yeah... we are buying it at the end.
I have '23 CT4S. Middle of the road spec. Wrapped it in matte purple (my wife's favorite color). Highly doubt we will use up all 39K miles contracted.. Given how these cars have been depreciating, I question whether CPOs will be cheaper than residuals. What is the strategy for buying out the car...
I have about two more years of free charging according to my app. The usual spots I go to started requiring EA membership or a credit card to charge. Seems like it started happening after the last visit to the dealer. Anyone seen this before?
Saw better pictures and rubber boot surrounds the pin, which seats with a quarter turn into the base. I just took out base of mine and trying to super glue it.
I broke off this stupid thing. I don't know how; just know that the passenger side port is now very hard to open and shows an error.
What is it called? I need to go to Suncoast or wherever and get a replacement ASAP.
I have all the hardware in my car required to do an adaptive matrix Euro setting, but the dealer doesn't feel comfortable doing it. Anyone successfully either themselves or gotten someone else to change settings with PIWIS?
Gen1 Taycan in question.
I wish I had gotten RWS. It wasn't something I could find new on the lot at the time, combined with other options, so we settled.
Also, not getting heated rear seats - my kids constantly remind me about that on cold days.
InnoDrive... don't use it. Just not that good. But it came with a car by...
The height of the lift was about as much as my CT goes up... but I guess not same hardware. Cool. I like the curves on Gen 1, so not lusting after Gen 2.
On my '23 CT4S, comfort access is kind of useless. At home, I have programmed the speedbump mode so that when I pull into the garage, the suspension is at the highest setting.
I was at Porsche Experience event this week and saw '25 Turbo with that comfort access feature where car jump up when...
My view—ALK is only worth it if you sit a lot in traffic on a straight road. The system is garbage otherwise. For a year, I commuted in an XC90 using PilotAssist2, and it works great at 70mph, just like in stop-and-go traffic. Porsche's version I just can't trust at any speed but in stop-and-go...
Sure... they also smoked in their cars with us present back then, and that tan you used to have was from laying under the back window. Those childseats weren't there to protect you either, they were to keep you restrained from beating your sibling. Just sayin' 8-)
Unless you will have no one in the passenger front - backwards facing is not happening. This is why I dumped Jag F-Pace and went for XC90. Taycan is smaller inside than F-Pace. BMW X3 has more room than Taycan. For 3 kids, you need a proper vehicle. Taycan ain't it.
My wrap guy said the lighter the car, the less suitable it is for wraps. Because there are areas they don't wrap, you then can see that color through body panel gaps. Black or gray or darker color - doesn't stick out. White would.
Q Car Care in Burlington. I checked several folks I found mentioned in PCA forums. Was underwhelmed by most. Gabriel at that shop spent a lot of time with me getting the right color, sheen, and walking me through how exactly everything will be done.
