I've had this a few times in the past but not recently, I suspect it's to do with internal battery conditioning.
If the weather is particularly hot outside and you're pushing the car quite enthusiastically in Sports Plus mode (e.g. using launch control), cabin air con is disabled to better...
Did they get away with the cars? I'm about to move from a top floor apartment where I feel very safe to a detached house and I'm not excited about the prospect of these kinds of incidents!
Got it, yeah sadly this happened to my cousin's Range Rover fairly recently and spooked me out of including comfort access on the spec.
Thanks for the explanation!
This is really useful information. It was my prior understanding that only vehicles with comfort access were susceptible to this kind of attack, I now feel a little less secure!
So how would the "amplification" method work? Surely there isn't a signal being sent by the key unless the owner is...
not what you want to see in the U.K. right now
EDIT: Turns out the entire AC is dead, hot air only. Took it to Porsche but they can’t get it booked in until August 9th. What a day for this to happen… ?
Amazing. This solved it. It turns out all I needed to do was add an address to my account at Tesla.com, until then it was for some reason assuming I was in the USA. Now the tile shows up in my app as expected.
Thank you for your help!
Wild. Same here. I wonder what’s going on? I haven’t been able to find anyone else with this issue online, I can’t imagine Tesla support are going to be very helpful from the stories I’ve heard about their car support.
This is what the guides online say too. However when I tap on the profile picture I’m taken to my account page but there are no such tiles.
I’ve tried signing out and back in again as well as deleting and redownloading the app to no avail.
Are you using iOS or Android?
I’ve signed up and am signed in with my account. When I go to “wallet” in the app it appears to be set up with my Apple Pay.
EDIT: As a test I just added my CC details directly to the app / my account but no “charge a non-Tesla” options have appeared. I’ve checked and I’m using the latest...
? same here.
Thanks for your replies everyone. Hmm, curious! I could be misremembering, I received my car over 18 months ago but I’m sure the cockpit didn’t originally have the g-meter, I thought I customised to add that?
Judging by the responses here maybe I dreamed it?
EDIT: Yes! This is...
There’s nothing there, no three dots. I presume you mean the usual three dots in the bottom-left corner that represent “options”? Nothing at all inside the cockpit “app”.
Has anyone had success customising their passenger cockpit view? I know I did this when I first purchased the car but cannot...
There is no entry in the good to know guide for this.
The tile is there, I can use the cockpit app just fine but I cannot customise it. I have no idea how to do this, what should I be looking for?
