My 2022 4S was delivered in December and didn’t begin having the issue until it became warmer (Florida), then had to reduce to 50% until weather cooled. Btw, I sent my claim in 2/29/24 and talked to a rep today who said “they weren’t expecting the flood of claims”… I guess they don’t know how...
Is anyone looking into their state’s Lemon Laws or getting attorneys involved to facilitate this issue? I mentioned the overheating to my local Porsche SA months ago and got the response, “nothing wrong on our end and no recall”
Same issue but slower learner… actually brought it to the dealer to troubleshoot. They had my car for 10 days before they called and said ‘it had healed itself’. I stumbled upon the fix the next time it happened ?
Not sure if this applies but, I had an issue where the left rear window would not return completely closed after opening/closing the that door. Dealer told me ‘start’ the car, sit in back seat and open/close fully 3-4 times (holding the switch), which resolved the issue.
There are extensive threads on this very issue with Porsche’s supplied Mobile chargers (sorry, not savvy enough to drop them here). But, yes, it’s been a real issue that apparently PNA is ignoring:downplaying and the dealers are looking the other way. My PMCC+ did the exact same thing and I...
So I changed the AC to ‘eco’ and bumped the pre cool from 73 to 74… 5% more range one day 1. Appreciate the tips. Will watch this further and see what further adjustments do.
Goodyear… can’t recall specifics. Will likely change to pilot sport when needed due to the amount of rain and I’ve read the Goodyears can be squirrelly - Pilot Sports I’ve had on past 540i and A7 have been amazing
Highway speeds routinely 70-85 for 20 miles of the commute and stop/go 35-50 for 10 miles (60 mile daily commute round trip). I was expecting better range, too
2022 4S 7000 miles - range is consistently 206-210 miles at 85% charge. This is regardless of outside temp/weather or using AC. I had to have a water pump replaced (likely delivered with bad unit) and told range should improve. It didn’t.
