I rang my local dealer, Porsche Tonbridge (where I bought it 3 months ago) and they said they no longer do any repairs ? My local mechanic was told by "Porsche Technical" (?) it would be £600 to replace the explosive hinges but had no idea how long it would take to get the parts.

I clipped the hind leg of a deer this morning - no damage to car (or deer it seemed) thanks to the excellent Taycan brakes, but it set off the Pedestrian Protection Mechanism under the bonnet. I had no idea the car had this feature, but it apparently sets off charges under the hood and lifts it...

The high beams on my CT4S seem to have a will of their own. Sometimes they come on almost as soon as I leave my drive, at around 20mph; sometimes only at >60mph; and sometimes as I'm actually slowing down into an area with streetlights... Complete mystery and quite frustrating.

Thanks. To clarify, I have LED Matrix with PDLS+. I rang the dealer this morning based on my experience and the comments here. It does sound like the camera behind the rear view mirror needs to be recalibrated, although he suggested cleaning the windscreen to see if that helped ?
