I damaged some of those "paperboard" coverings on my Targa. They were easily replaced ($2-300 IIRC). They checked for other damage while replacing and in my case found none. Be glad you hit these paperboard things and not the battery.

Chalk Night Vision up to another feature like PSCB - too expensive to maintain, not worth it. Whenever mine gets cracked I'll just turn off the feature. Getting pretty tired of these built-in costly expenses.

Well shoot. I’ll try and capture noise on mine. The stealership says it’s normal, but I definitely notice it vs the old car. It does sound like airflow noise so maybe it is normal. I should drive another J1.2.

My assumption - until proven otherwise - is that we might need calipers to complete the downgrade. But then you’re off the PSCB crazy train for good. I do know iron rotors exist for the same wheel size, as my 23 GTS had iron brakes with red calipers. My 25 has PSCB with white calipers. Same...

Id buy fresh irons before messing with that.
