are NF tyres really required to protect warranty?

No. Never once had a warranty claim challenged for using non-N-rated tires.

    Radar Detector Recommendations

Yes, it only works in the dotted area (and honestly, slightly less well than it does on non-thermal glass.)

    Underframe Damage

I damaged some of those "paperboard" coverings on my Targa. They were easily replaced ($2-300 IIRC). They checked for other damage while replacing and in my case found none. Be glad you hit these paperboard things and not the battery.

    Radar Detector Recommendations

It absolutely won't unless moving to one with embedded bumper sensors.

    Radar Detector Recommendations

The only thing to be aware of - if you have the thermal/noise glass, it blocks radar except in the dotted area at the top. I confirmed by going to a grocery store and comparing signal.

    Taycan Drifting!

My first thought was “ah, so that’s how they cooked my brakes in 100 miles” :)

    Possible total loss?

This is good advice. I bet what ends up happening, once you have counsel, is a settlement offer. Litigation costs money. It costs them nothing to offer a lowball and see if you roll over.

    Possible total loss?

All insurance companies will try to pay out as little as they can. Sounds like you’re doing the right thing, best wishes and keep us posted!

Do NOT crack your panoramic glass!

I had it done at my Porsche service center so it just showed up as a service visit.

Opinions please, Lease ending, CPO or extended warranty upon purchase from Porsche?

Sometimes I wish I’d stuck it out with my 23! I don’t think you’ll regret your plan.

Opinions please, Lease ending, CPO or extended warranty upon purchase from Porsche?

Having gone from 23 GTS to 25 GTS here are my assessments: - Better range, substantially. 299 miles @90%. - Better charging speed, substantially. 315kW best so far, and holds it deeper into the curve. - Better performance, substantially. Honestly the first time I've felt a car is "fast enough."...

    Possible total loss?

I hope that's a total loss - you don't want it any more after this. And like the others I bet it will be. Every body panel on the side is damaged, plus frame integrity and who knows what to the battery/cooling system.

PSCB Coating Failure at 44k Miles — My Experience and What I Learned

That's using your noodle! And when the brakes do wear, you won't be broken financially to repair them.

In What World Does This Make Sense?

Chalk Night Vision up to another feature like PSCB - too expensive to maintain, not worth it. Whenever mine gets cracked I'll just turn off the feature. Getting pretty tired of these built-in costly expenses.

    Swapped J1.1 4S to J1.2 GTS - My Observations / Review

But improvements to range and charging speed! Also performance.

    Swapped J1.1 4S to J1.2 GTS - My Observations / Review

Well shoot. I’ll try and capture noise on mine. The stealership says it’s normal, but I definitely notice it vs the old car. It does sound like airflow noise so maybe it is normal. I should drive another J1.2.

PSCB Coating Failure at 44k Miles — My Experience and What I Learned

My assumption - until proven otherwise - is that we might need calipers to complete the downgrade. But then you’re off the PSCB crazy train for good. I do know iron rotors exist for the same wheel size, as my 23 GTS had iron brakes with red calipers. My 25 has PSCB with white calipers. Same...

Id buy fresh irons before messing with that.

    Swapped J1.1 4S to J1.2 GTS - My Observations / Review

One of the things I noticed after upgrading was additional wind noise from the drivers side / front area over 60mph. It is like a hissing / wind sound. I am curious if you’ve noticed the same, having done a similar technology jump. I also switched from manual charge doors to automated so...
