The grille on that car looks way better, and more importantly is functional for cooling. The grille on the EV is just an ostentatious light up display. They should've kept the original GT XX design.

I think they went too subtle on the badging. How will people know what kind of car I’m driving with the logo only on the headlights, taillights, hood, trunk, and grille? They need to put it on the doors too and possibly have it projected onto the road in front of and behind me while I drive!

Seems cool, but on some deeper level it bothers me that it's all just fake, like so much of the modern driving experience is. Fake vents on cars, manufactured exhaust farts, fake engine noises, and now fake gearshifts. Like I guess it's fun, but it's just... fake. Also it's funny this car...

Exactly. So many EV sedans look like jellybeans with the J1 being basically one of the only ones that looks decent, now that the Model S is dead. Everyone complains about the packaging, but that's why the car looks good.

The tariffs will be brought back under a different statute. Also I wouldn’t expect companies to cut pricing much, they’ll just pocket the difference.
