Thanks for your help. I hope it can be sorted. I am concerned about it simply falling out whilst I am driving. Unlikely, but not impossible. I will update once I know more.
I see what you mean. All of the lugs look to be perfect, so this is not stopping them. I may end up taking the wheel back to the refurbishment company to ask if they can sort it out. Didn't want to do this as they are not close. I will take another look tomorrow.
Thanks Andy. I will give this a go tomorrow. Interestingly there is no metal ring around the plastic tabs on this one. I may have problems getting the other one out if there is a metal ring on that one...I wonder if that is part of the problem, although, it simply won't go in any further...
Thanks. I have removed the centre cap and have cleaned the inside of the hole/seat for the cap. I also used a caliper to measure the depth of the seat and the cap dimension and they match, so it doesn't look like it is a problem with the thickness of the paint.
I am having some issues with my centre cap on my wheel. It protrudes by about 5mm. It sits flush on all other wheels. I have tried multiple times to try to get it to seat properly, but it just seems to hit a brick wall. I recently had a refurb, but they certainly haven't taken the wheel back by...
@Paul S I have had that problem before. That seems to happen when the servers are down at Porsche (as I understand it). It seems to resolve itself after a few days in my previous experience.
Hi Steve, it was a different problem for me as Spotify was showing as active. However, this morning miraculously it reappeared. All very strange.
I hope you manage to sort out your issue.
Thanks @SergeyIndy . I thought that a reset would help, but alas no joy. At least I have Android Auto...but prefer Spotify in the PCM as the sound is better.
I will wait to see if it returns.
Hi, last week, Spotify disappeared from my PCM. It had been working fine up to then, but now it is nowhere to be seen...! I have looked at all of the options, and it says that it is "active" when I look at the PCM services list, but it is just not there. I did a reset on the PCM tonight, and...
I never realised it was that easy. It would be good to see a video of someone removing the badge. I have a white CT4 with the standard badge in silver. I always wondered what it would be like without the badge. It is a leased car, so would need to ask them if it would be ok to remove it. Might...
9.5k, 20" no issues with tyre damage through potholes.
Had one replaced as I had light kerb damage and Porsche insisted on changing the wheel and told me that the tyre had to be replaced too. There was nothing wrong with it as far as I know.
That's odd, I had a similar experience last week. One of my kids noticed the sound whilst we were sitting in traffic, and we were stationary. Couldn't work out where it was coming from. I haven't noticed it since.
