    Clear side signals versus OEM?

Check the laws in your state for specifics. In mine it states the light must be amber, but doesn’t mention the housing at all. Some require the marker be reflective and the light amber.

Illuminated Door Sills Installation / Retrofit DIY

Very easy to get to. The lights I used are just popped into the felt in the footwells, you can pop the couple pins to loosen the felt so you can tuck the wire. I used splices so I just removed some tape to get to the red wire, attached the spice, and then retaped it and plugged it in after I...

Illuminated Door Sills Installation / Retrofit DIY

Thanks for the info on the rears. I did this retrofit yesterday. I'd done this before on my Macan. The rears as noted are pretty easy to do stock. The one mistake I made was taking off more of the trim than I needed to on the first side, where I removed the entire front trim piece and pulled...

    Deciding on CPO Taycan Options

Congrats on the new Taycan. I hope it treats you well. You said purchase, but I know you were also talking about a least earlier. If you leased it, not sure I'd bother with PPF, as normal chips shouldn't be a wear and tear item on a lease. But if you own it, best to get it done right away. Talk...

    Illuminated sills help needed

That's the instructions for the sills, not the repair manual, which the instructions refer to for wiring. The shop manual has instructions, diagrams, torque specs etc. for the entire car. The wires basically look like this (though much longer in the kit and not wrapped

    Illuminated sills help needed

I've done this install on a Macan, though looking at those instructions it's pretty much the same. It's not a harness you connect to, you run the negative to the appropriate ground point (a cap nut that you remove and slip the connector over) and the positive to the listed pin point. The...

    Buying advice for 2020 4s

I agree, with a 2020 in particular I would want CPO. To me that price seems high for a non CPO. You can find 2020/21 CPO 4s's in that price/mileage range with similar option lists.

    Buying advice for 4S/Turbo

Heated Steering will be listed. If you find a car that was delivered in the north it's very common as it's a cheap option ($280). If you look at ones that come from warmer states, most don't bother. Steering wheel heating doesn't do much in Miami. There's tons of that check your must haves...

    Clear side signals versus OEM?

There are after market ones that are clear/smoke but still light up amber to meet us requirement. https://flat6motorsports.com/collections/taycan-exterior/products/flat-6-motorsports-clear-or-smoked-led-side-markers-taycan.

    Buying advice for 4S/Turbo

It's possible for a dealer to have a CPO eligible car that isn't listed as CPO so you can ask if you see one at a Porsche dealer that isn't CPO. There are other disqualifying things like a certain amount of repaired damage, or if the car is a manufacturer buyback (clean title is a CPO...
