Thanks for the quick reply and info. Can MapEV distinct from "permanent/non-clearable" errors and "non-permanent/clearable" errors? Or it lists them all there without any distinction? I want to know if I have such permanent errors before going for the non-refundable paid inspection (about 500$ here)
Hello everyone. Does anyone have any idea if existing fault codes on a 2021 Taycan have any weight when they decide if extended coverage can be approved for my car? No coverage at all currently. I'm mostly talking about random "SOS emergency call error"/one-time "yellow electrical system error"...
I know, I've heard the same, but I also want a preferred charging time. Combining those two breaks every other logic
I want to charge during the day from 08:00 to 17:00 (I have solar panels and want to charge for free during the day when it's sunny)
I already have a smart circuit breaker with...
That's the "minimum charge" setting. If I set it at 85% (like I did based on your settings) it will not stop charging at 17:00 and instead it will continue ignoring my preferred charging time. You can see that in the first row of screenshots
Unfortunately it doesn't work. I want to charge only between 08:00-17:00 and only untill a max target of 85%. These are the settings I used, based on yours. At 20:42 it's still charging
The only way it works is this:
This method charges above only between 08:00-17:00 and only until 85%...
I have similar settings, but it started going crazy all of a sudden. Will try to use your exact settings (except the hours), will check in the following period (since it's very complicated to test them thoroughly). Thanks
Anyone found a fully working solution recently for target charging AND explicit preferred charging periods ? Want to charge at home to max X% and only between hours Y and Z. I had a seemingly working solution (with a combination of timer and profile) up until today when it started charging...
UPDATE: I just got my money back ? thank you @prj for mentioning this!
I asked them why didn't they consider this warranty during the initial repair, they said the warranty info was not present then and was added only after the repair, on 29 April 2025 to be more specific. But they also didn't...
Disconnecting the 12v battery is a 1 in a million shot probably. Actually I don't think it's an actual option but I know the feeling of trying everything before accepting the situation. Check this video
It's not related to actually disconnecting the battery but it shows you how to get to the...
I have the info from @ct14garage. I assume "Hochvolt Ladegerat" is the one? I already saw this but I assumed it was something else, not the OBC. This could be awesome news. I'll go to my dealer first thing on Monday..........

I've read dozens of topics in this forum regarding the charger, there is no universal conclusion: for some it happened during DC charge, for others during AC (both low and high power, for me it happened at 7A/1.7kw), for someone it even happened while driving, he said he was...
Do you guys know if anyone mentioned in the other "heater problem" threads if the heater can break again after repair/replacement? Or the new version is a "permanent" (as far as they know) fix?
Got it replaced out of warranty, all good. I asked them to give me the old on-board charger for fun, it's bigger than I expected, actually it's huge and heavy as fk
However now I'm traumatized and will always shiver whenever I plug my car to charge ?
Got the official conclusion: it's the on-board charger ?
I asked them and they say there's no possibility of installing a 11kw charger if the car is configured with the 22kw charger. Anyone has any input on this, if it's real or not?
