  1. Charging confusion

Agree, I even use a Tesla charger at my office and a Powerdale (www.powerdale.com) at home. Just make sure you get 11kW out of them. If your previous car was a hybrid, it might be a 3.6kW charger.
  2. Charging not stopping at 85%

I have the same experience. If the preconditioning is on, the required charge level is exceeded. The colder it is, the more the choosen charge level is exceeded. It doesn't look like a bug to me as you can guess some possible explanations: - I haven't seen my charger trottling down the output...
  3. How to set to profile to only charge to 85%

I think it's more important to keep the garage dry instead of warm. I have two classic 911s in my garage and I put my heatpump boiler there, which dehumidifies air. My Taycan sleeps outside ;-) At the end, it's just commodity car which is produced in high numbers and will not hold value anyway...
  4. How to set to profile to only charge to 85%

haha Ed, you are such a funny guy, really ! But actually... you have got it *completely wrong* ... again... *LOL* 20 to 30°C is the battery temperature for optimum performance/range/battery life/... With only 10°C in your garage, you're still way off that point. So again (and it is really...
  5. How to set to profile to only charge to 85%

Gee, well, sorry, that explains a lot. You are absolutely right in that case when you heat your garage at 22°C. Sorry that I didn't think about the possibility that some people anno 2021 are appearently not aware about some issues, like e.g. global warming, which makes most people think about...
  6. How to set to profile to only charge to 85%

Well, no that's not amazing, that's exactly what I wrote in the third line of my post: A profile = the minimal charge you want at all times when you need your car. So you put it to 85%. You plug your car in and it starts charging to 85%, which is finished by eg. 23.00. When you leave your...
  7. How to set to profile to only charge to 85%

euh, you're *completely* wrong... It's quite simple. A profile = the minimal charge you want at all times when you need your car. If the location has better/worse times to charge, you can set them there. A timer = when you want your car to be ready to drive (at that moment). You set the...
  8. Setting up charging to 85% for novice

That's only usefull if you're connected to a smart grid. They're rolling this out in the EU.
  9. Setting up charging to 85% for novice

I have 1 profile, with a charge goal of 80% which is activated all the time. To manage the charging process, I use 3 timers: - 8AM, 80% goal, with preconditioning - 8AM, 40% goal, with preconditioning (I set this one when I don't need charging, but want to precondition without loosing range) -...
  10. Setting up charging to 85% for novice

sure you didn't push the button next to the charging plug? ;-)
  11. Taycan Bluetooth problem

I always have this problem when my car is parked in an underground parking lot. If I leave from there, no bluetooth, no LTE, no wifi-hotspot (during the whole trip). It's like the PCM lost its connection to a connectivity module? If I'm not parked underground when I start the trip, everything...
  12. 2021 Model Year Taycan configurator comes online for some markets, showing 7 new colors

The 22kw charger isn't on the option list, neither on the documents that were posted here earlier. That option actually interests me a lot since I will be home charging all the time. Mine will be produced on 23/09.
  13. 2021 Model Year Taycan configurator comes online for some markets, showing 7 new colors

Did I overlook something or is the panoramic roof no longer available in the option list?
