Update. So main new battery has arrived at dealer. They phoned me a week ago to tell me they had received the battery but now needed to hire a forklift truck to remove and install the battery. I presumed they would have some Porsche designed service equipment for this procedure…. I then received...

Ah sorry.. so I was getting a really high pitched noise which i posted which I felt was coming from the wheels or the drive unit. I have standard wheels and tyres. Porsche could find no issue when it went in and they cleaned the brakes. I could still here the sound faintly in the background...

My drive unit hasn’t been making a noise. It’s a dead main battery that needs replacing

Yes. They gave me a basic Audi Q3 but swapped it two weeks ago for a Q7S as I wasn’t happy. I’ve been told they now have my battery but are waiting to hire a fork lift truck to fit it ….. ?‍♂️?‍♂️

So Porsche dealer calls me today… good news.. the battery has arrived.. bad news.. they need to hire a fork lift truck to remove the old battery and install the new one… REALLY…..?‍♂️

Its exactly the same issue I had. It came back. Been waiting 5 weeks for new big battery

21 days in and still waiting for replacement of big battery…. Porsche are churning out new cars without looking after existing customers…

So it’s been confirmed by Porsche today my main battery for my turbo needs replacing and they cannot give me a date when it will arrive…..

Hi. This is same as mine.. currently sitting in Porsche Colchester waiting 3 weeks for a high volt battery… it’s a joke. Where is yours going?

So I’ve been told today the large volt battery needs replacing?? the Porsche rep didn’t have a clue if its the 12v battery or what.. said it could be a 3 week wait for a part. At a time when there is a fuel shortage in the UK too ?
