A year 😂 i sold it back to dealer after waiting for a solution for 5 months 😕 it took another 7 months for them to finish the car and sell it. They changed battery twice. And rear engine’s ecu was supposedly the cause of the problem (car did not provide the true source of the issue which caused...
Burmester was in itself great, however the resonating door panels, trim, even the rear mid seat and shelf, made it unbearable. Especially when you have some vocal focused song with a strong bass. As suggested, use the tone gen to identify the weak spots, around 100hz its especially horrible...
by far the biggest problem is the rattling. Burmester is so powerful, that once you go above 20 or so, inevitably door panels, and what else not start to resonate. So, to really enjoy burmester, you need to apply vibration reduction materials. When I took the car in to the dealer and illustrated...
Having had both, short answer - no. 911 is much more rough and involving. Engine, transmission, weight, exhaust, handling, braking - all differs. Taycan is like a distilled, luxury version of 911+panamera, with a focus on comfort and quietness. Taycan is certainly a much better daily driver with...
I had burmester - really powerful system, but car is not ready for that power - literally all panels vibrate untolerably at deeper bass. So if you go with burmester, think about taking car to shop to do proper sound vibro insulation job.
bose in 911 sounds good and for the abovementioned issue...
Well. Sort of. Had put 22.5k km on it, so it was not 100% refund. It was buyback at market price (assuming car actually works) (which in my market is not above msrp but about 18% below). Got this one as a replacement with some extra discount...
So. The car is still at the dealer. After reconnecting the replacement battery, it got disabled again. So they came to a conclusion that the battery was not the real issue (good news for most Taycan owners). The bad news is that the onboard diagnostics system was unable to determine the cause -...
Yes. Collected the beauty today. I’ve had cabrios before, that roofless experience is very special. Instant power, pops and bangs on downshifts, sliding rear, instant turn in, 911 is really all about driving sensation. Having had Panamera, Taycan and having driven 718, this is in a class of its...
Wow, that’s painful to read let alone to experience :)
Here, we have vat 21% regardless of the emissions. Then there is annual tax based on co2. For Taycan that was 0. For base 911 it will be roughly 200€/year. Insurance was actually cheaper for 911 comparing to Taycan (which was a nice surprise).
