I wouldn’t recommend lowering with links unless you’re comfortable with hitting bump stops while driving. I ended up staying stock and avoiding the lowest ride height setting to keep bump compliance in check.

190-220 miles here in 50-65F conditions generally, I don’t baby it but I’m also not speeding anywhere. My home built EV goes farther on a charge with a 76kWh battery. I did eek out almost 270 miles on a road trip in ideal conditions when the car was brand new. 4S CT with 20s.

Factory tubes look to be about 1/4” thick - those fasteners would go before the bars would deform :) edit: 1/8” thick. Still beefy

I’m in for a set. I’d love to see a way to lock the 1up rack to the rail extensions. On my other EV that has a rack like this, I used lockable ball-lock pins. This would allow for a lock to be routed through the bike and down to the rail to keep the thieves at bay.
