Between your two choices, I'd go for a 4S with options.
However, I'd also rather not get a 4S and save up a bit more to get a Turbo with more options (if money is the concern).. but that's just me. I'm more of a "all or nothing" kind of guy.
If you're just after better value, then yes - a 4S...
Thank you guys! I think I’m going to just opt for ACC and not ALK. I’m trying to stay around the $175k range on a Turbo CT and I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting Carmine Red instead of the free paints, which means something’s gotta give. The first to go would be ALK. I was thinking of...
I’ve seen it in person and the honest answer is - depends on lighting. A lot of these paints look different depending on the type of light, overcast weather, etc. These photos make it even more difficult because there’s also the camera factor to take in. Best thing to do is to go see one in...
Thank you guys for the input, but I’m definitely interested only in the car’s ability to distance itself from the car in front of it. At this point, active lane keep sounds fairly useless, which is why I’m interested only in adaptive cruise control.
I’m currently waiting for my local dealership to get an allocation for a Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo, which means I have several months to agonise over spec and what not. I’m currently up in the air about exterior paint (Frozen Berry, Frozen Blue, Mamba Green) - but I’m also wondering if...
Damn. Guess we’ll have to wait a little while for concrete Turbo/Turbo S allocations.
As a non patient person, this wait may very well shave a few years off my life.
Darker colours definitely don’t look so good on the Taycan IMHO. I’d only consider black because I would wrap the car eventually and wrapping a black car is a breeze.
I am also thinking about exterior paint and am completely torn between mamba green, carmine red, berry, and ice grey. I saw...
I just saw the Berry exterior in person and was blown away. It looks really good in person, very striking. As my SA said - it’s a love it or hate it paint. Currently debating on berry, Mamba, and possible PTS. Dave’s car isn’t that bad!
I'm more surprised that this happened to begin with. Whenever my local dealership worked on my GT3 for anything, they'd have plastic coverings on both seats and would only take it off when they gave me the car.
If I were you, I'd call the service department to let them know you're unhappy and...
What would the differences between a Sport Turismo and a Cross Turismo even be? Tbh, I'm quite pleased with the CT - just wish it didn't have the plastic black fenders is all.
Anyone get the heads up display on 2021 cars and regret it? I'll be going to my dealership when it's time to spec out my Taycan Turbo CT, and there are two things I'm heavily debating: exterior paint, and heads up display.
Paint is subjective, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to compromise the...
My dealership said that they had an allocation for a June build with delivery in July. However, this was for the regular Taycan 4 Cross Turismo. I was really hoping to enjoy this car around summer but it's looking like that's not the case :(
When will Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo allocations be given out? I'm waiting for my dealership to get one but they're not sure when it's coming. Any clues as to when they Cross Turismo Turbo is supposed to hit the floors in the US?
I have a friend that's a mobile detailer. I've trusted him and him only to detail my 991 GT3 and will do so for my Taycan Cross Turismo when it comes. He paint corrected my GT3 and ceramic coated it a while ago too. His instagram is @paragonautospa.ny
He can do the paint correction and ceramic...
I know I have the deal because it was already offered to me. Why on earth would a salesperson, after negotiating from 10% to 15%, then finally at 18% after talking to a manager, then go back on that deal?
This would be true in a 2021 model, but not a 2020.
I have been able to get 15% off a 2020 4S and am shooting for 20% off a higher MSRP Turbo. Highest I’ve been able to get is 18% off on one but it wasn’t perfect, so I’m still holding off until I find that perfect one.
I’m still weighing...
I must be one of the few that doesn't like wireless CarPlay. I don't have a Taycan yet, but on my wife's Audi A6 - it's a PITA. Sometimes it connects immediately, sometimes I need to sit there for a solid 8-10 minutes while it connects. At some point, I decided to just connect my phone...
